Nice -have 635,000 Lloyds shares-accumulated since the 2008 fiasco .

I still see the SP very dissapointing at the moment .For instance the SP was 89p in 2014 some 12 years ago and its still struggling to stay over £1 . There is always apparently something holding down the SP .

Any thoughts -the next budget could implement another rise in dividend tax -its gone from 7.5% to 8.75% and talk of it rising to 12.75% with allowances close to zero .Although you will be better off with dividends compared to saving accounts at 20% tax -your investments are at risk and with the gap narrowing -will investors start to contemplate moving away from investments.?

Ftse showing down some 350 points for Monday -that's going to put Lloyds around 62p

Confident here -SP will gather momentum following the latest positive results .

I have not just been " holding this " -have built up a large holding of 635,000 shares by purchasing more when the SP has fallen due to the latest crisis. There is no mistake that the SP performance over the last 20 years has been shocking .

Excellent post and in fully agreement -enough is enough and it's just a matter of finding the courage to dump my holding and unlock the shackles of holding this over the last 20 years with diabolical share price performance .

We have now entered the classic Lloyds zombie state -seen numerous times due to previous crisis.

When banks are up -Lloyds is either up half as much or not up at all .When banks are down-Lloyds is down twice as much. Could see 12 months of this .-Still one of the worst investments over 20 years .

Shareholders are not able to stomach another PPI style meltdown at Lloyds and selling is continous.

Holding for a dividend income--not sure what my average is but been accumulating since the banking crisis so I guess I must be in profit .Been through the numerous dramas with Lloyds and thought finally we would see some real growth in the SP .

Very annoyed -long term holder 630,000 shares and here we are again with Lloyds yet again -one thing after the next and still one of the worst performing shares over the last 20 years .

Where is the panic other than panic selling as the size of the fall is unjustified -I won't be selling .

So the market capital drops roughly £2Billion on the car finance news with already a provision priced in -what is going on here ?

There is always something with Lloyds .

Any thoughts on what the effects of the Labour government raising tax payments from dividends -currently 8.75% for basic tax payers -talks of raising this to 20 % .Surely you may as well sell up and move to a safe savings account with roughly the same yield .

Lloyds has a long history of continous losing gains -its been an appalling long term investment so let's hope it holds .

All a little extreme with the SP today but in comparison to NWG -currently down 7% -Lloyds is doing not so bad being ex dividend day .

Consistently losing early gains even after Ftse rises -again today -surely we are not dropping to sub 50 p again -sure looks like it .
