Good news -the dividend tax (currently 8.75% for basic tax payers ) is to be reverted back to 7.5% starting April 2023 .

Just when I was thinking we might get over 50p after years of pain -something else happens .

Banking crisis-credit crunch -PPI - North Korea -Covid and now its UK economy -serious this is one **** show for long term holders

It's took some time but have lost patience with the share price -can't even hold 50p and its ex dividend day very soon -really 44p coming .

Have over half Million Lloyds shares purchased over the last 20 years but really the SP should be well over 60 p now - today's fall has really cemented how bad the long term performance has been

After 14 years of events killing the SP -it still can't hold 50 p -pretty much garbage long term return .

Buying up shares with excess capital and writing them off -hence reducing shares in the market and raising the price per share .

Yep -so ridiculous considering it's still way down over a 5 year period .

Long term holders starting to dump in realisation that this is currently not a viable dividend stock to hold .

Dividend payment is far too week to inspire share-Holdes -many have large holdings like myself and looking for a future income -there is no indication that we are going to get that here now -especially looking forward .SP will flounder around its currently levels with todays announcement .

Totally agree -the 20p brigade will be back in force simply because the stock price is falling hard .
