I’m not totally sold on the vodka situation. From what I’ve heard from people in the industry, it didn’t just “finish” it was more like a slow-motion car crash caused by clueless leadership who couldn’t run a bath, never mind a business, and treated staff like an afterthought from what I’ve been told.
But honestly, the biggest comedy show of the year? Has to be Paul Carroll out here delivering Amazon parcels, talk about a career plot twist nobody asked for. And then there’s Leon Hogan, back again like a bad sequel, launching yet another “trading and investing platoon.” At this point it’s less Wolf of Wall Street and more “guy with a Wi-Fi connection and zero shame.”
After the greatest hits — scam call centres, the drone company disaster, mysteriously “losing” investor money, and the NE10 funds disappearing act — you’d think people would’ve learned. But no. Somehow there are still people lining up to take financial advice from a bloke whose track record screams “do the opposite.”
