I agree. The appetite for risk in the UK just does't exist anymore. Hence companies don't get growth capital and that's why the US dominate the growth stories...they are not scared to fail or take risk. Brexit hasn't helped but let's not open that can of worms. It's very disappointing to see The City shrinking in terms of Capital Markets origination (I don't mind seeing trading shrinking).
I'm not convinced banning short-selling would help. The government need to do more on the tax side to courage risk capital and growth.

I think that comment is a bit dismissive on the basis that they have only received 1/3rd of assays from the first programme which will only have drilled 1% of the total 23 km2 even after they have finished.
I am looking forward to receiving the other results.
Price/MCap is disappointing but a good opportunity for me to accumulate all things considered
They should prove the MRE and then sell to the highest bidder. They are listed n the wrong market for a growth company. U.K. has no risk appetite anymore and especially when compared to US.
French stock market now bigger than U.K. Relevant only to show that BHL is up against it due to U.K. listing
Disappointing but I remain bullish. I’ve got patience !
I’m not convinced shorts will get roasted. The recently opened shorts might start to exit rapidly but those that have been short for a while can afford to exit steadily.
Of course, any transformational news will cause them to run for cover so I remain hopeful MM can pull that off. I’m sure he would love to see a short squeeze and some burnt HFs.
