Just reading through this announcement from the boots launch
https://www.boots-uk.com/newsroom/news/boots-launches-new-range-of-at-home-self-testing-products/
I noticed they say "Boots is the first retailer to offer this range of at-home self-test kits from MyHealthChecked".
I might just be reading too much into their use of the word first, but maybe they know there are other partners in the pipeline?! Maybe the deal with boots was a timed exclusive. E.g. boots can have it for 4 months or something before we launch elsewhere.
Very tempted to stick some more money in at these prices!
Anyway, another positive review on trustpilot. This time for the Ferritin test:

One negative review on boots. The thyroid test as they couldn't get the blood from their finger. Think there'll be a few like that. People don't realise just how much you have to milk the blood out of your finger to get the vial filled before the wound clots.

Yes, I thought it read like an investors review haha. Hopefully we get some reviews from non-investors coming through soon.
I'm tempted to try out a couple of kits myself. The vitamins and minerals DNA one looks interesting.
Boots popped up on my Facebook feed today (I follow them) with a "boots uk has trending items" post. It had our iron, Bowel & tsh rapid tests on there, along with the weight management dna test. Hopefully this means they're all selling well.
On a fairly unrelated note, there was also a "moregasm" vibrator in the list... hopefully MHC shareholders are in for as good a time as the customers of that product!
Good to see the products on the shelves. There's a review on one of the products on Boots as well now

Reads like it's written by a MHC investor, but hey ho. At least it's a good review.
No RNS this morning then?! Maybe Nano doesn't think the deal is big enough to warrant one. That or they think that because a couple of people have talked about it on a chatboard and the information is available *somewhere* on the Internet, that has fulfilled their legal obligations...
Was looking through the tests on boots last night. According to their counters the rapid tests are looking popular (not sure how accurate these are):
The iron deficiency test had 100+ people looked at in last 12 hrs and 7 purchased in the last 24hrs.
The H Pylori test had 74 views in 12 hrs and 5 purchased in 24hr.
The Bowel health had 7 purchased in the last 24 hrs.
There weren't any messages popping up on the more expensive products saying if any had been sold. But plenty of views.
Anyone been into a boots yet to see the displays? See if there are many people interested?
Dactions, try clicking the green 'switch to thread view' or 'switch to message view' green button above. The chatbord still looks the same to me.
Davand, the rapid tests have the manufacturers address as Hangzhou AllTest Biotech Co. in China. The other tests have MHC's address listed, but all the bits in those kits are cheap, off the shelf items that will have been bought in from China (lancets, blood tubes, wipes etc) and then just assembled as a kit in wales. For example, where I work (a different, non-competing IVD company) we buy lancets in bulk for around 8p each.
What money is it costing to get these products to market? The D&D is already factored in to our wages. Boots are taking care of the advertising costs and costs to manufacture the physical kits (in china) will be minimal. Certainly isn't going to cost us £6-7m to get the product to market :'D

News story that yourgene are doing some of the lab work for the tests
I notice we're featured on the front page of boots website. Scroll about half way down the page to 'top health picks' https://www.boots.com/
That's the way I read it Eccles. The board get to issue statements to defend themselves, but it is a simple vote. I imagine the vote would pass if it happens given that the more annoyed holders are more likely to vote (see also: brexit)
