I just had a quick look at Patagonia. Quite an amazing turnaround in the share price. If you can also arrange for a similar result here please that would be appreciated.

Michelle gone (was useless, clearly), government funding, storm shares sold. Lots of cash in and more meaningful changes. Lots of good news and not enough made of it all if you ask me.

They need a rising share price to attract buyers. That is what does it.

Likely to be a number of people who also think that gold's bull market is over when what's it's actually experiencing is a healthy correction from drastically over extended levels. AKA a breather before the next leg up.

Gotta wonder what management are doing here on a daily basis though. What fills the diary?

There's much to do still. It needs money. Lots of it. Raising against the share price is the equivalent of trying to grow value using a 50% APR credit card.

You can't sugar coat it as good news, but it's arguably news that was priced in already.

I'm viewing it as part of a deep reset where things are actually done properly and a complete fresh start. If this was the first MRE, the sentiment would be quite different. It's the past expectations, which were set by less competent and thorough people that have caused disappointment.

IMO Alex will pick himself up and form a plan to take this forward. That's what matters.

I had wondered if this little extra was about getting enough cash in the bank to finalise the TSXV listing that has been floated as a possibility. There was some amount of cash in the bank they were required to have to do it.

It was 20 years ago that they were after nickel here. All that drilling paid for and an asset that's been stranded for all that time might be about to come back into play. They won't want to give it away for free, hence it's now getting an updated MRE too. Very interesting times.

The only people that appear to be fussed about the suspension are short term traders.

Personally if it's suspended for a quarter even, I couldn't care less.

Bumping up against the neckline. Take that out, move to 6p. Take out 6p and the weekly and monthly shift to an uptrend. I am no chart expert.

Looks to me like a double bottom pattern is forming here over the last month or so. I am no expert. Anybody else seeing that?

Surely these people want to take a look at the weekly or monthly charts now and actually hold for more than two days? Repeatedly looking perky below key breakout levels.

The valuations on these notes are perfectly logical, the trouble is that getting to a valuation like that requires finding more people who are prepared to buy and hold.

No evidence of being overextended on the daily and looking back on the weekly it looks to me like once it gets past 6p it's properly game on.

I can't see what the rational is for letting go here, even for a trade. It's your career choice Bankrupty.

A little bit of price retracement with a small amount of selling on low volume is healthy, it's just gathering breath for the next leg up.

The only selling that worries me is the 77p trade that went through! What kind of a freak does that?!

Give them a ring and tell them to get their chequebook out sportbilly!

Given that the share price has doubled in the last three weeks I would not expect them raise a massive sum in the near future, since one has to now reasonably expect that cash further down the line will be less dilutive.

I don't want to sound negative as a rising share price is welcome.

It's just that many, if not most long term holders here are still underwater despite significant averaging down in many, if not most cases.

Traders and/or new entrants perhaps think that those who've been holding underwater will be 'in distress' and bail as soon as they're break even, causing 'resistance on the chart'. Personally I won't be. I don't think the others will either. Like Eric and Rick (winners in life) we're here for the big prize, only with many more shares now in sticky hands. That big prize is when Junior Lake, under Alex's leadership and with his vision is recognised as the world class asset we think it is.

I didn't disagree with 16p at all Brakken. Potential for a fair bit more over the long haul, if they're regularly double figures by the end of the year I'll be happy enough which is what I was saying months ago.

Valuation almost entirely based on traders momentum chasing.

Alex was going to do some more talking/explaining after the drilling results. Didn't happen, selling began, apparently 'a (one) seller' and yet no TR1, apparently described at the AGM as 'mischievous' selling.

I can't add it all up. Hold tight, see what happens.
