There are not many companies that see their profit forecasts raised four times in five months. Such is the case at RPS, the £730m group that, as Britain’s biggest environmental consultancy, sits in one of the fastest-growing niches within support services. At 25 times 2008 earnings forecasts, much of that potential is built into the shares. But while RPS has a relatively short order book, its high proportion of recurring revenues makes it one of the least cyclical stocks in its sector. With this week’s Planning and Energy White Papers only playing to its strengths, the shares have further to go says the Times.
Suggest you settle it the old fashioned way chaps. Queensbury rules or pistols at dawn? Very amusing.
Not ramping, these guys are my only share im in profit on - 5% up! Times tipping them too. 06.03.07 Helped by the odd acquisition, revenues and profits at product tester Intertek could rise at double-digit percentage rates. Dividends will rise faster in the short term, with Intertek executives on a pledge to reduce cover from three to two and a half times. Buy says the Times.
Im in on these too today, 3211 at 30.75, need something to prop up my rapidly declining portfolio so hoping for a push on these. Im still v new to all this so need all the help I can get.
Wish I could pick them like that
in the right direction
Im enjoying the ride!
in for a penny....
Doesnt that mean now is a good time to invest in this stock then?
Hi Peddler, thanks for the tip on TRI, what makes you think they are on the up?
2 hefty sales transactions, im taking my money.
Whats the reason for the surge Peddler? Im still holding mine.
I sold 2 weeks ago for a modest profit, they have since rocketed, kicking myself.
Lots of big buying going on here even though copper markets are down, whos with the smart money?
Bought these at the peak a month or so ago losing 10%, now on the way back up. Shaky US housing market caused jitters. Lots of buying going on now though.
Up 5% already!
Ive just got into these, got to be worth a punt.
Thanks Peddler, to be honest i forgot all about them, i bought some fortune oil shares at the same time and they are now worth nothing, so were the dragon ones until recently, win some lose some. I think I will cash out as and when they hit the £2 mark. I went in big on WOS shares last month, just before they went down 10% - starting to move up now though. Im a complete novice at the share lark but looking to do some wheeling and dealing.
PS i bought my shares 10 years ago - they have increased 4 fold.
Peddler, as you were pretty good at spotting the turn on this one, what would you say the best exit price is??
