Good write up on Inv Chron website today from Simon with a buy recommend

Shares down 10% since the EGM and continuing to drift lower each say so 50 looks possible. Discount now 46%.

Hard to see any recovery until Chairman goes and is not replaced by the managers nominee (as Pat appears to be), or theres a takeover approach

Now that we have some clarity it looks good value given the long leases and quality of tenants giving a 9% yield since the fall in price

Be interesting to see if Simon Thompson of Inv Chron does a write up, he has been a fan in the past and usually gives a shot in the arm to the share price

This time last week this was .65 so could be heading back thereabouts as the RNS while positive didnt really add anything substantive over last months update.

There are so many people underwater on this that any surge is likely to get sold into unless its on the final sign off confirmation, thats just human nature.

The line in the RNS that made me sit up was "c.US$10 million of KEFI share participation post-closing in respect of closing fees and costs". That probably means another placing but hopefully at 1.5p plus after closing but another placing nevertheless

Thats a fair point.

I am reminded of the same thing happening a couple of times in the past and I got excited and sat and watched, to then get the legs cut from under me a few days later with a placing.

Maybe crying wolf too many times but I just took the opportunity to reduce which hopefully will be shown to be a bad decision and we get full sign off soon

I think anyone with integrity would seriously think about whether their position is tenable if 30% voted for their removal.

I doubt if Cox and Bankszky have the decency to resign

It would be just like GSF to announce that the resolutions failed to pass without disclosing the %ages to avoid embarrassment to the two directors

My initial reaction was the same Guitarsolo but having thought about it I've seen the logic.

Do we really want somebody trying to dribble out 47m shares piecemeal over months and months. Ive seen that in other companies and it just drags on the price. At least this way its clean and increases NAV per share etc for the rest of us.

They do look very desperate scrabbling around for votes - must be tight.

I dont understand how Glass Lewis and the like who supposedly have corp governance as their key remit support directors who were there at IPO 7 years ago and have not rotated or refreshed - to my mind that does not fit with what is considered good corporate governance practice. Especially when the share price is down 40% on the IPO price

Also why is the contact on the RNS the investment manager? not a board member - surely on corporate/board matters it should be the Chairman - it tells you a lot about how ineffective the board is

It will be interesting to see the final vote. Even if the board win - say 60/40 and there is a substantial dissatisfaction do they really have the brass neck to stay on? It would also be a major encouragement to any potential bidders looking at GSF that a large % of holders just want out and a decent offer would have a high degree of being successful. Interesting few weeks i think

News is more than overdue, 4.5 months since the review was announced, not to have some update is poor investor relations.

One can only hope that it means theres either a bidding war going on or at least some serious due diligence. If it was some silly low ball offers it doesnt take long to reject them

Expect there will be a share issue in due course given the recent strength in the price and the comment in the last Chairmans statement

I dont see how Leons claim of the price representing 10-15 years earnings stacks up -

In the half year to 31 Dec the reported EBITDA figures were

Chrome $13.5m

PGM $3.0m

If you double those for simplicity to give a full year thats around $30m combined which is 3 years to equal $90m sale price in round numbers not 10-15

If hes excluding the earnings of Chrome then hes being very disingenuous (which he may be given his past record of being economical when it suits)

British Land released year end results today.

from science and tech occupiers for new space in Cambridge."

Taking out LABS would give them a significant step up in this space and is easily affordable for them. I would be surprised if they are not involved in the process

I very much doubt a "Big Pharma" would waste their time on a minority stake in a tiny little company with a market cap of £13m
