For Sale31 Mar 2025 07:46
Having pondered much over the weekend, re-read RNS's, listened to Paul's last few interviews, analysed trades over the last few weeks...I can only come to one conclusion. Our Moroccan asset is about to be sold either in part or full. Paul could not have been more clearer in is narrative offering his shares for sale and even suggested to shareholders a change in board/management if shareholders not happy. I think Morocco has taken its toll on him and he is as frustrated with matters as shareholders are. He cannot however, openly express that frustration publicly to the market, but has now given not so subtle hints.
Have we a background accumulator of stock, possibly? Moroccan entity? Most likely. If data has been shared and for what ever reason right or wrong, this is being held back, someone may be liking what they see. Why do you think the last RNS was so heavily weighted towards Trinidad? Paul seems to be moving his focus to an asset and opportunity that he has more control over. He has NO control over Morocco, the Kingdom and ONHYM call the shots. That is plain and evident.
Friday saw a frenzy of buying. If this continues today and this week, matters behind the scenes may be in play. The article published on Friday told us more than what has been announced in any RNS. Afriquia Gaz want it all. Let that sink in.
Are we going to realise top dollar for Morocco, answer probably not. Is it going to be at todays price? Probably not. If an offer was made let's say ballpark of anywhere between $100 - $200m, would Paul think time to let it go? I think he would. More importantly would shareholders?
Could be an interesting few weeks.
