Kind of non news though? The Advisory Board value is difficult to determine given progress made during their existence and another sales person on the commercial side equally so. Where is a home washing machine with Xeros tech in it? Where can you actually buy a Xeros filter? They are the big value drivers. Everything else is single digit or very long term stuff. Lots of talk since their run of deals a couple of years ago but nothing tangible in terms of sales reported!

@Gracetrad1 Not a problem. Some people just don't want to here it and chose to question your motives when they don't want to address what you are actually saying. With a share price slide since November of nearly 3p should I have put money in then? It's not perceived negative comments on this board that caused this slide but a lack of fundamental commercial progress at the company. I hope they can pull this back but they are going to have to shift up a few gears, like many of us have been calling for for months. I hope they do.

Thanks for the direct to Guangdong Welly Electrical. Your right and 2 million machnes a year manufacturing capacity is big even if they are not a major manufacturer. They are listed amongst the Others on Euromonitor or not in the top 99 manufacturers world wide. IFB being in the top 30. With your research skills I am sure you can debunk this if incorrect. They are a big player in the category which should matter for the external filter manufacture. Hopefully there is enough cross over into laundry for marketing. My perspective on Xeros is a critical friend, not a cheerleader.

IFB is a major blow. Look at the share price. It dropped 50% since this news even with the Donlim announcement at the same time! Lets not pretend otherwise. A major blow is still a major blow if its your fault or not. Point is it piles the pressure on them for revenue soon. No buffer. Its not good news and that needs to be looked in the face and action taken.

Austin has landed 1 deal in 15 months and we have no idea how good it is. I'll be less sceptical, your words not mine, when he and his large commercial team are really visible, contrast Adam Root at Matter, closing on a regular basis and most importantly royalties are being paid. Same goes for Yilmak. That doesnt seem unreasonable.

It is difficult to agree that Xeros are just cynically stringing investors along without an end game @Gracetrad1 but at the same time its equally difficult to be as bullish as you appear to be @Maplinman.

What do we understand?

The IFB delay is a major blow and the time IFB have taken has to raise the risk of will it ever do a mass market launch? Let's be positive and assume it will but not until mid to late 2025. Xeros need revenue now with there current burn and cash at bank. £2.9m in the bank at the end of this year is not much if you think how much they raised this year. A lot of burn for little commercial progress.

Are Donlim going to bridge that? I am unfamiliar with the brand but Google suggests they don't make washing machines for clothes, just fruit!, nor large appliance components so that aspect of the deal this week must have some questions. A link up with a major manufacturer must be the volume play. Much more positively they look like a good choice for the manufacture of the external filter. The question must be how quickly will they get to market in volume and what that volume needs to be.

Many of the major manufacturers now have either their own external filter or have just selected the Matter filter in the case of BSH so the available market must have shrunk? Who must be the targets now?

At a generous £5 royalty per external filter, if a per unit royalty rather than contract manufacture licence is the deal, then Donlim will need to sell nearly a quarter of a million filters, a tenth of the French market so not ridiculous if that is there focus, to get even close to Xeros quarterly burn rate. How long will Donlim product development for a product for volume manufacture take?

Well I had hoped for an announcement at IFA! Too bad it was in combination with a very negative RNS and completely outshone by Matters tie up with BSH. How the Xeros leadership and commercial people lost that competition having a technically superior product should be prompting searching questions by the Xeros Board. Who thinks the RNS creates more questions that it answers? So a licence for XF1 to develop more and market the in machine filter. Great! No details of how the licence is paid for when previous announcements have said a payment per filter sold. However, XF3 sounds like a contract manufacture under licence. Who is paying for the manufacture of XF3? Have they given Donlim a licence to allow them to manufacture and sell under licence with a royalty back to Xeros or are Xeros paying for manufacture? The RNS looks very carefully written to put the most positive but not very clear spin possibly?

Whos hopeful for a major announcement from Xeros at IFA this week? The external filter was announced a year ago so a licence partner being announced this time would be a good PR hit. IFB are not showing it would appear so no Xeros machine launch from them.

Seeing as you have mentioned me even though we dont know each other. Not embittered thank you. Frustrated at the lack of recent commercial progress. I havent criticised the core tech but the team are paid to deliver commercial results and we havent seen anything for a long time have we? Investor interest and support is good but you have to admit it is the only positive news we have seen for more than a year. Or am I wrong?

I want to see Xeros succeed and it is down to the management to deliver commercial success. If you have a problem with these questions you might ask yourself what is so unreasonable about them.

Its been 14.5 months since Xeros signed any deal with anyone. Is this the longest period of no commercial progress so far?

The company has a CEO, CFO, CCO, commercial director and half a dozen sales and marketing managers and not one deal. Not one. How is that even possible?

@Maplinman XSG depends on IP Licence revenue. That means they need Licence Partners and for those Partners to be actually selling products. In that order.

For all the faults of the XSG management team over previous years they did get licences in place and on the commercial side products in market, a key issue seems to be that those partners have failed or been very slow in getting products to market so far.

The current management have not signed a single deal for well over a year despite having half a dozen sales people many more than XSG had previously. Despite the warm words on IFB they still do not have products in market in any volume and no launch date yet. They have cited discussions with industry players for nearly a year to.

XSG tech does not seem to have really progressed for years except for XF3 which looks like a boxed version of the one they had already and nearly a year after launch at IFA you still cannot buy anywhere. They have also let go many of their scientific team and their IP Director!

The management need to deliver real progress, real deals, real products in market, and do it soon. The lack of progress is down to them to fix and no one else. No more discussions. Signatures. Product sales. Surely only then will investors believe what is being said and the price go to where it should be. People are well past talking about the tech.

Austin and Tristams stretch options get posted and the share price takes a dive. Go figure.

It has been a year since Xeros signed a contract with anyone.

Hopefully they have that confidence and it is justified. The confidence to not bother with another one or two months of working capital. Very bullish, or something else ending in ish.

What does speak to the market is no new licences for nearly a year and no licenced products launched with their partners over the same time. No visible progress for nearly a whole year.
