Catenai PLC (AIM: CTAI), the AIM quoted provider of digital media and technology, announces that further to the announcement on 14 January 2025, the £100,000 working capital loan was repaid in full on 31 October 2025. The loan was provided by a small group of lenders, including Sanderson Capital Partners Limited, a substantial shareholder in the Company and related party.

Best thing for shareholders would be to expend the bond until after November or just do a placing to pay him off.

The Company has one major liability in the DCB. This has been in place since August 2020. Given the lock up on the WeShop shares detailed above, the Company will not be able to repay the DCB, that at the maturity date of 24 May 2026 will amount to £6,965,000. The Company is therefore considering other options to address the DCB. The Company recognises the significant importance of the DCB liability, and discharging the DCB will allow the Company to unlock potential value for WeCap shareholders. The current priority for the Company is engaging with the DCB holder to find a solution that unlocks the highest possible value for WeCap shareholders.

A separate plant to produce the new CBS product, processing the stripped high carbon / low vanadium waste rock, could be built and operated in advance of the construction of the Project processing plant, providing the Company with a valuable early cash flow stream.

Product testing

Laboratory scale samples of both CBS products have been tested by a major manufacturer and supplier of automotive rubber products to the Chinese car industry. The results of those tests were successful and identified that both products can be substituted for carbon black at varying levels up to 25%, saving not only the cost of the substituted carbon black but also eliminating the need for further addition of white carbon (silica also used as a filler in making rubber), and reducing consumption of naphthenic oil. The potential savings to the customer from use of the Company's CBS products is, therefore, significant in comparison to current rubber manufacturing formulations.

A 20 tonne sample of the new CBS product is being sent to the potential Chinese customer for industrial scale testing, following which, offtake discussions are likely to result.
