Russia and Ukraine to exchange prisoners

As a reminder, Russia and Ukraine are due to exchange 175 prisoners each today.

The Kremlin revealed the news following a call between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump yesterday.

It added that, as a "gesture of goodwill", Russia will also release 23 seriously wounded Ukrainian servicemen from Russian medical facilities.

On 23 March, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will host talks on a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine.

According to Trump's envoy Witkoff, Russia has agreed to a ceasefire at sea and in the energy sector.
