Feel for you guys, I got out months ago with a big loss. Felt then and now we might have another "high street stalwart" going down the pan. Any chance of the new regime recovering from this?
Agreed. I bought in about 6 weeks ago at 95, thinking it had bottomed out. Don't think it has had a daily increase since. will hold and see if next set of results are decent.
Wow, what a difference a few weeks make. Almost 30% in one day. Just hope this is not a shorter's day and the SP will drop tomorrow by 10-15%. Was tempted sell late on today ( Wed ) but remain confident the company can turn the last few weeks around.
Ridiculous drop in share price. Just Eat is a well run company and a expect a retaliation soon. Lost 7 or 8 % today but that will come back. Over the year up 29% before today, will see that back before long. Wish I could top up at this price
Strange this is down today, it is not an update day nor any big news on the industry. BA and Ryan air are down just 0.4%. is this a buying opportunity? Had extremes with EZJ, buying at over 14.00 then again at 9.00, just wonder where this is going, pre Brexit Clear Skies deal.
Absolutely no idea why this has dipped as it has. Over 4% on what appears to be very good results, contrast with the mega warnings and results from Next and that romps. As I hold both they sort of cancel themselves out but confusing anyway. maybe just evenening out the rest of the year.
yes, sometimes this wait and see game actually works. Positive article and I will definitely wait and see if someone else bids ( Berkeley again?)
Anybody got any input about why this is romping at the moment? Trading update tomorrow but just as likely to hit a wall and collapse. I don't suppose there is any conceivable way they will pay the divi yield stated on Hargreaves Lansdown, just a mere 34%. Nice if they did to recoup some of my losses.
I bought my Bovis shares two years ok at nearly 12 ( yikes) , very heavily tipped by Questor in the DT. Topped up three times since including just after Brexit vote. Finally ahead and want to stay there. But as stated, interesting times ahead and looking forward to the divi payout in May. All other things being equal, hope Redrow wins the buyout as also got there shares and they are doing very well at the moment.
So why the over 3% fall. Cannot understand this one. Nothing negative at all apart from the consumer outlook and possible increase in costs next year. A top up opportunity???
Anyone got any idea about the dividend in Berkeley's? It was on December 16th last year but I so far this year. They did state that it would be the same annual divi as normal but so far no cigar.
Any thoughts about what will happen here today, big jump on domestic performance or more post BREXIT misery?
Any thoughts whether this will be positive or negative? SP going in right direction today.
I anticipated a decent performance but no idea why it has dropped so dramatically. I jumped in last night in anticipation of this kind of increase. :-( Will probably improve in next few days but 7% is a lot to catch up.
Thanks for that. I was thinking of going in overnight to get the initial jump if news is good. Like you cannot see it not being but SP has dropped from 13.2 to q2.2 in a few weeks. Got half an hour to stick or twist.
Rhambo What gives you confidence in Greggs. got to say in November ought in before the last trading update at 11.30 and sold at 13.20, not so sure this time but like the company, and as my waistline can testify, like the products.
You are aware that the ex dividend needs to be ratified at the AGM on January 13th? What are the chances of it not being honoured? Not high I suspect.
