well its a very good interview and brings a lot of clarity and relief. the loan is oversubscribed and its the formalities which require completion and that is imminent. So doom and gloom only with AAAG. lidsey answered very well. Lets see the beginning of good news Tuesday onwards.

The presentation was not well presented at all. Shows the incompetence of the entire BOD . This is the first BS that I have seen where a project is presented without any numbers or analysis. Its plain criminal and not simply negligent.

Croqman . we are in the same boat except I am not sitting on losses. I averaged upwards as Sf progressed and equally annoyed with untimely placings and delays. I think funding etc will be sorted in the next few weeks and we will see 2 pence or thereabouts.

Croqman- SF still is a company making asset if the BOD focus on it. There may be 4 projects and these should be easily doable if the BOD focus . its very obvious they have NOT. And that's why lenders are taking their time. The security is there and its not performing because of incompetent BOD. Unlike shareholders a lender would not stand for BOD BS.

The BOD have wasted too much time and money on the geothermal stuff. the focus should have been assets in hand. Get some performance behind you. The management FAILURE including GL is chasing BS rather than focusing and completing what they actually have and also deliberately withholding vital information about severe cost escalation in SF . The SP is where it is because of incompetent BOD which appear to behave like confidence tricksters. Having said that we are where we are. There should be no deviation from the plan. BOD requires some culling and GL is ,so far a failure IMHO. Lidsey should be producing the desired levels of oil had they focused on it properly. Missing deadlines on Balcombe is also BOD fault as they were messing around with Gerothermal and yet the BOD with massive experience does not have the common sense to present the project properly to shareholders while it keeps touting it to lenders. GL NEEDS HIS HEAD EXAMINED. Get the money in and focus on 4 assets. And cut the useless staff and costs . The share price would be 2 pence plus even now if the incompetent BOD could focus.

share price is anticipating doom and gloom thanks to AAAG fuelled by BOD failure to deliver on time. Its a few weeks delay in funding and if the company does draw down end March as they say, we will be at 2Pence. IMHO, if we can secure the 9-10 million in loans and do the placing for the rest to put all money worries away it will be a good thing. GL has to deliver in a transparent manner instead of regurgitating same old BS. Its time all 4 projects come to life in a timely manner . That geothermal stuff is too far away with no indication of economic numbers .Why so much time is being wasted on that? But the BOD indicate that loan funding is also available for it. Why cant they disclose to shareholders the economic benefits to the company. That presentation was a complete waste on that front.

Balcombe news are next week. delays with permissions etc cant be blamed upon the company. same applies for brockham. lidsey is mysterious at the least. BOD should be producing ,end of. SF pipeline completed. costs overrun shocking abd a few weeks delay in funding is no big deal considering the size of the facility. wont be surprised if this is above 1.25 pence next week this time. we could do with good news from balcombe . thats worth 0.5 pence .

Finally a confession from the company with list of excuses. GL will be in full BS mode.

My question would be is why the geothermal project is being to potential lenders and not shareholders. Its really a height of stupidity by GL.

balancedviewer/Croqman Your views are genuinely valid and fair due to the trust deficit in angus BOD and we are on the same page. The difference is I am far more optimistic/bullish . Considering today's updates we should have breached 1.5 p at the least . further progress will reinstate the confidence and I do not agree that the real SP rise will come on gas sales. The rise will come when revenues are certain and that requires clarity on all 5 projects. 3 oil, 1 gas and the new geothermal. And I do believe further placing will take place in few months ,hopefully at much higher price.

As I stated before, people have just not grasped the good news. A written off asset is back in the near future . the funding is almost there with drawdowns in March(that's not weeks away) and there is funding for the geothermal project too (which is yet to be announced) and with a bit of luck balcombe and brockham will come into play too. When people realise the news truly, the SP is going to bounce up with a vengeance.

short term punters banking on a clear RNS are indeed disappointed and sold off. the long termers are still here and topped up. Lidsey is a nice bonus. The company is very well poised for take-off. GL needs to get the geothermal project OUT for shareholders to assess. Its time Gl & company stay absolutely transparent and bring out everything in the open.

Bigbear2-The news ,initially, seem negative. But thee are genuine hiccups ,such as existing loan from K Properties. Any new lender wants to make sure that money is for projects and will require clarity. This should have been anticipated. Its my speculation the recent placing with warrants should sort out any finance deficit when good news flow on Balcombe, Brockham, gas and geothermal. If another placing is needed at much higher price it wont be so bad. Next placing should be at a minimum of 2 pence. GL must be transparent and release the geothermal news. What is it and how does that benefit in the company. We have been hearing about it for too long.

people have missed the fact that funders are very interested in the geothermal project and prepared to fund for that which implies that's its a simple matter of formality for RNS to come out on that. The geothermal project is definitely very advanced for lenders to consider. perhaps that's what GL means about releasing news in the imminent future.

Frankly I ma delighted that GL was transparent and stated the facts and I prefer that policy 24/7. 12 million loan funding is a big deal and I always believed that the timescale provided was unrealistic. GL is not sitting idle. I think an update on gas, geothermal project, will be excellent news in the coming days. Balcombe permission will also be most welcome. The AAAG will keep sprouting negativity as a ritual even when the SP is £1. The more transparent the company management becomes the more the sp will perform. Of course delivery is Essential and I believe delivery is taking place. I topped up at 1.1245 today and I have no regrets even though price is cheaper now. That's what market is. I am expecting genuine investors to review and top up on any weakness and a much higher share price next week.

Gallifreyan- Could not agree more. Balcombe,Brockham permissions are valuable but GAS is paramount. The company could and should have updated all of us about the progress on funding. Some 11 months ago they sat on the the news of "massive escalation in costs and seeking funding " for 6 months ,which IMHO was illegal. Instead of keeping shareholders informed, GL is again keeping quiet about missed deadlines and put the matter in investors questions . Its obvious there will be no resolution of the funding till the end of this month. GL will be replying via the website with more BS about jam tomorrow. All the talk of presenting the Geothermal project is also delayed. The latest interview implied that all of this will be sorted by now and there will be investors presentation sometime this week clearly setting out the future. Only GL and the incompetent BOD can and do miss all delivery dates . utterly disgraceful and unacceptable.
