Extract from RNS with regards to CDE Court Case :

CAP-XX is pleased to announce that, following a court action, it has reached agreement with Cornell-Dubilier Electronics Inc. (CDE), whereby CDE will licence two of CAP-XX's patents on a non-exclusive basis.



CDE is a US based privately owned capacitor manufacturer with over 35,000 customers worldwide. It is also the largest manufacturer of power capacitors in North America.



The royalty rate to be paid to CAP-XX is in line with the royalty rates applicable to other licence agreements with third parties. No further financial details relating to the transaction will be disclosed due to confidentiality provisions in the settlement.

With regards to the Maxwell/Tesla case, if an out of court cash settlement is reached would the terms of the settlement have to be made public ? I ask this as historically none of the recent license deals have been transparent and surely Maxwell would as part of the settlement want to keep everything under wraps as it were ? I have no idea how these things work... just wondering if the settlement if and when it arrives needs to be made public knowledge. I’m also presuming going forward they would have to sign a license deal like CDE , would the terms of the license be made public I wonder ?

Good things to those who wait they say. The last 3 years have been truly awful fair play. Here’s hoping 2021 will be they year fro CAP XX. My largest holding of any share by a considerable amount and by far the most tedious.

What are we expecting exactly next week from AK ? Traditionally price has always dropped on results day don’t think I can handle another Jam RNS. Does anyone think we will get news on potential contracts, license deals etc ?? The 2 new members of staff Jeff Coulton and Ranalli haven’t heard much about these guys ? All views welcome :)
