''The method, development and clinical applications of hyperpolarised xenon MRI was pioneered by Professor Jim Wild and the Pulmonary, Lung and Respiratory Imaging Sheffield (POLARIS) research group at the University of Sheffield. The team performed the first clinical research studies in the UK and the world’s first clinical diagnostic scanning with this technology.''
The media coverage I have read/heard doesn't mention any organisation by name, but dig a little deeper and Jim Wild's name comes up, along with an EXPLAIN study into long covid at Sheffield, Manchester , Oxford and Cardiff.
POLX are involved with studies at Oxford and Nottingham i believe
Yes Bob, discussion about this on KDNC board. Its complicated, because ''the buyer'' is Sonoroy holdings. It looks to me as tho' Sonoroy holdings has been set up by the COE Estate and TRR (50/50). The Estate will hold their half thru a company called Marmottes Capital.
The Estate has always believed in the value of the Sonora resource. I guess this arrangement gives them access to monies 'up front' if the courts rule in their favour with the appeal. It will mean Trident pay them $25M by the end of 2023 (if I've understood correctly)
Now I've had time to read thru properly: Sonoroy Holdings looks like its been set up by the COE estate and TRR; the estate will hold 50% thru Marmottes Capital Ltd and Trident the other 50%.
I don't know about Colin Orr Ewing, this is more like J R Ewing !
The good thing for Cadence is it shows there is third party interest in the resource.
The bad thing is that a Royalty is very different from a JV that could be many years off being mined and would/could be subject to toll treatment. If TRR are prepared to pay 25M US for 1.5% royalty can we infer a value of Cadence JV areas?.........tricky.......but this Trident buy in has to be a positive for KDNC.
@Barksy - Absolutely he should know. If Sonoroy are paying $ 52M then u would assume they knew what applied to the last square metre. If TRR have RNS'd those concessions and they're saying El Sauz is included then he should update us ?
The royalties have been bought by a company called Sonoroy Holdings, of which TRR hold 50%. Sonoroy have paid 52M US for the priviledge. Thanks to @Mullins on KDNC board for posting this. Its messy, and I do think that one of the reasons that Secker wanted out was because of this royalty claim and the bad blood it caused thru the company.
Still interesting even if we no longer have a financial interest .
@Mullins......intriguing !
So the royalty is being bought by 'Sonoroy Holdings' of which Trident owns 50% . If the court finds against COE estate then Tridents money is returned by the buyer (Sonoroy)........Sonoroy must be confident with the royalty claim unless they too have a get out clause.
TRR say the royalty is over La Ventana, Buenvista, El Sauz and San Gabriel. El Sauz is one of the JV concessions so Keirans 'understanding ' that there is no royalty claim over JV areas is contradicted.
Note that TRR do not mention Fleur, ElSauz1, or Megalit.
Cadence should RNS this I'd have thought; they're probably trying to work what's going on !
Yes, agreed.
My biggest failing is not recognising when to cut my losses. My gut feeling is the tech here is too good to fail but then the question is what were the issues for the CRL ? and how does a conservative approach miss these red flags first time round.
lLost a lot of money with MTFB so my nerves are jangling
How low and how long can this go without news ? Have they had discussions with FDA ? Do they have enough info from the CRL to resubmit without discussions ? PI's are being kept in the dark here .
Keep in mind how much money REM have actually put in to the JV areas, posters here will know exactly, but I believe only ever about $2M.
If what Keiran 'understands' is correct and there are no royalty claims on the JV's that could have a bearing
patience wearing thin ? below October 53p director buy ins now; but not yet to R Hullihens 47p
I read Rio have already spent $450M on 'pre-feasibilty' study. Can't imagine they'll let that go easily . That sort of spending puts these projects into perspective.
Back into profit for me this week.
Double figures pence sometime this year ?
GLA
There are some big trades going thru intermttantly, i would say some buys, some sells because the sp is staying constant.
Today 2 X 100k trades @11.30 One buy, one sell ?
A lot of patient money holding for news; lets hope its smart money as well
was going to say......He1 on a bit of a run last few days .....nearly 100%, that i have missed, unfortunately. A popular share tho' with a lot of money changing hands.
Last i have read is that SCIR holds approx 1%.........so about 6Mshares ?
some big late reported trades. Time to wake up next week...........maybe ?
that was my understanding @cornishknocker.....has that premium kept up with the recent steep rise in carbonate and hydroxide prices ? Its hard to find figures on this
I got my questions answered about Sonora, so thanks Vox markets :)
is there a 3% royalty claim on the KDNC JV areas ?......it is our understanding there is not
what financial obligations do KDNC have if the JV areas are mined ?....probably none, will be done on toll treatment process; GF could ask for a cash call tho,
This is all about Amapa and Fe prices. Interesting what was said about the economics of shipping the stockpile ore
@johnpwh I'm very surprised that we haven't had an acceptance level update. I thought they had to RNS 75% level, which surely must have been crossed. I saw the RNS this morning and thought it must be offer clarification........but no.
Worrying times for people who haven't received their money, unneccessarily so. Comms from the company should be much better.
N7455 and Stintin.....stating the obvious....but u have both accepted the offer ? If u have then its supposed to take 14 days for the money to be credited. ZNWD shares will be allocated accepted or not.
BCN have still not specified a final acceptance date,so in theory, the offer is still open to be accepted.
TBH, this whole process has been a shambles from start to ''finish''. I will say, that my broker, Interactive Investor, has been helpful and prompt. I think the lack of clear comms from BCN has been a pain in the backside for the brokers as well as the shareholders. Good Luck
Two more days to submit ur questions.
Seems to be some difference of opinion here on the value of the Sonora JV's ! As an ex BCN holder with a small stake here, I am interested in clarifying exactly what KDNC have((contracturally) and what KDNC would be expected to contribute if the areas were to be mined. I've asked the questions but I do expect the Q and A will focus mainly on Amapa. We shall see.
If enough people ask about Sonora, maybe they won't ignore it ?
