Did anyone else hear the explanation yesterday on the earnings call about private equity and how they would have to pay a very high premium because of the numbers based on their three year plan.

Could be an outstanding buy at this level. Watching from sidelines for now but does look interesting

When shareholders who own most of the equity start removing board members it often plays out the same… a purchase of the business at a huge discount or a delist. These shareholders have been taking all the cashflows out of Mtl for years… you really think they’re about to share them lol.

As Leo says, they could plough ahead with a very low ball offer or a delisting is a possibility. They have shown their hand with this removal and probably because they want the assets. Seen this happen so many times on aim, bet you it happens here too.

When there are assets that can be easily gobbled up by doing a combination I wouldn’t be so sure. The chairman going is a bad moment and the market knows it which is why holders are selling out

One speculation is that largest shareholder collaborates with second largest shareholder and they take over the equity at about a penny.

Basically management are all at risk here and clearly when the largest stakeholders are not getting their way they do as they please.

Was always a huge risk having owners who are basically controlling the action

Price action here and the big dumps don’t bode well

To be clear, raising money is not a bad thing but it does mean more dilution (meaning every rise adds more to market cap) and the market isn’t going to just sit tight when they can buy at a future discount.
