Why would you make changes if you believed that you had the appropriate skills required within your management team? If they had nothing to worry about, they would have just pursued MW through the courts. It's just my opinion of course but I think future funding will be harder and don't see today's SP as value. I'd be buying nearer to £6 until the MW issue is put to bed.

Yep...Davey I got it wrong...however your response shows clearly how nervous everyone is....Burford have done nothing to restore confidence. The changes they made to the BOD clearly show that they are worried by MW and what they have to say.

TBO MW think they have something, but I am not sure they know what. Makes perfect sense to rattle the cage then study the language of the response before moving on to phase two. Its also blindingly obvious that having a husband and wife drawing from the same pot was always going to be controversial and therefore you have to think that the BOD are not up to the job. I am sure todays price is probably a better reflection of the companies worth and therefore potential dividends seem a better reason to invest than an increase in SP.

This all about sentiment...if the BOD and EY are as happy as they say they are...they will prove it and we'll see target prices of £24 paid...if they have anything to hide then they are f......d! This d lest feel like Quindell as there has been cash generated...should see a recovery IMO

Still looks a negative trend channel to me...thought it would reverse this morning as there were signs yesterday...can help think that there may well be some more large buys later today....any sign of a reversal and I am sure there are plenty looking to buy back in...

The directors have bought well below what most would see as fair value. It's about regaining control from the shorters....taking shares out of the market at the moment would seem sensible to me...just my opinion
