API of the same pool can varies dependant on temperature and depth...less than 10% variance here so same pool IMO.

So the seismic says they are connected...the interval starts at the same depth and is the same length. So what you are suggesting is that we have two pools of oil at exactly the same depth and interval??

ngms27 there is a small amount of oil returning to the surface in amongst the drilling mud. The high API would suggest that in fact the two wells are connected and not the opposite.

The penny will drop soon....this is the start of something huge for CASP.

Should see some really positive follow up RNS as the mud is removed from the wells....A8 has so far been a great success. The drill was negotiated without incident, over 100m oil column, perforation successful and oil flowing to the surface. Operationally this couldn't of gone better.

Its a ploy that CC has used before. He knows full well that the API is not 84 and despite the RNS being full of good news, he has managed to create an air of uncertainty. He's either thick beyond belief or thinks he's clever. Either way not the behaviour of a top class executive....He may also be doing it for fun :) who knows.

We are also pleased to report that the oil recovered to date is of very high quality with an API of 84.

The mid licence took this past 13p.. can’t see the market turning its back on the potential of the deeps now. This will be old news and they will be already further on with flow rates IMO. Gap up to 17p likely with steady rise e from there IMO

now you can start to price the deeps in...58km2 of 84 api oil...£2 seems more than realistic now

There is no value attached to the deeps and the shallows are way undervalued.....why? Until the company stops doing shady asset for shares deals with directors and associated parties, where information has been held back to ensure the SP is lower than it would otherwise, confidence wont return.
