ECR Chairman David Tang commented: “We are pleased to report that ECR has completed the application to renew Creswick exploration license EL006184 for an extended five-year term. Together with our recently approved licence EL006907 covering the Ballarat East Nerrina Goldfield, this area provides access to the Dimocks Main Shale strike zone, believed to host the source veining for much of the alluvial gold within the Creswick deep lead alluvial system.”

· BAM Gold Deposit Western Extension: The recently completed drilling has confirmed the continuation of the BAM Gold Deposit along strike to the west with drill hole 0421-823 intersecting 9.25 metres at 4.04 grams per tonne gold, including 1.01 metres at 31.50 grams per tonne gold. Visible gold was identified in five of the eight holes drilled. The mineralisation remains open to the west and down dip.

· Mineral Resource Update: All data from the 2020-2021 drilling campaign has now been compiled and forwarded to Cube Consulting of Perth, Western Australia ("Cube") for the finalisation of the Mineral Resource Estimate update on the BAM Gold Deposit, the results of which are expected for completion and publication by early February.

Offshore South Africa, Orange Basin, Eco Atlantic will acquire 50% Working Interest ("WI") and Operatorship in Block 2B, where Africa Energy Corp. and Panoro Energy ASA maintain Working Interests. Eco will also acquire a material Working Interest of 20% in the deepwater 3B/4B Block and the shallow water and Nearshore 3B/4B Blocks where the Company will strengthen its ongoing strategic partnership with Africa Oil Corp. as the Operator and 20% Working Interest partner

Drilling operations have continued at Southwark since the first development well was spudded on 30 December 2021. However, the Noble Hans Deul rig has experienced an increasing challenge with seabed conditions that, if not remediated, would compromise rig stability.

Technical personnel have explored potential options to manage these challenges. However, on Friday 7 January, the rig owner concluded that, as a prudent precautionary measure, temporary re-location of the rig will be required to facilitate seabed remediation and enable safe continuation of Southwark drilling operations. This course of action is now in motion.

As ever, the top priority of IOG and its drilling contractors remains the safety of all personnel, whilst ensuring the safe and timely continuation of the Southwark drilling campaign. Temporary relocation of the rig minimises the safety and integrity risks to personnel and assets. The rig is expected to remain offshore with non-essential crew and equipment demobilised while the issue is rectified. Further updates will be provided once there is more certainty on the length of remediation work.

Further to its RNS on 5 January 2022, in which the Company announced the plans for multiple wells to be drilled this year, operations have commenced for the second well included in the farmout by Nostra Terra of an undeveloped portion of Pine Mills to Cypress Minerals LLC ("Cypress"). Construction of the drilling pad is now underway. The well design has been agreed and the rig is currently being mobilised. Simultaneously, the operator is permitting the well. Drilling is planned to commence in the coming weeks.

Cypress possesses 3D seismic data over the area and has high-graded locations. A successful well was drilled and put into production in January 2021. The second well will offset that first well. Nostra Terra has a 32.5% working interest in the wells and farmout area for additional potential locations. This second well is targeting the same producing horizon as the first well.

The Company confirms that revenues for FY21 have significantly exceeded those of FY20, recovering to a level slightly ahead of that in FY19, a pre-pandemic benchmark. This improved position reflects the recapitalisation of the business in January 2021 via an over-subscribed placing raising £5.5m in gross proceeds, a revised board composition and the strategic change of the Company's business model from an instrument-centric sales focus to a more commercial and collaboratively-based business model centred on customer workflows, providing instrumentation, software, service and analytics to help solve real-world problems.
