The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
My take on the rise is all due to the latest RNS.
Anyone fresh to HE1 reading that RNS and doing some research will think this is ridiculously cheap. Plenty of news in Q1, then drilling campaign.
They won't be too interested in last year, it's an exploration company, these things happen.
People are stake building for the inevitable take off.
Xviolet, I'm pretty sure they have said they can get a plant up and running within a year of a discovery. It's a small plant. Will need about $50m, but by then the SP would be many multiples of where we are now, so placing no problem or some other raising, maybe where the JV could come in.
It will be just a matter of time before the tide turns again on the price. This has been worked down on fairly low volume. Sometimes you have to separate the fall in sp to the company as in this case. MOS have been doing all the right things which does not reflect the fall in sp or the current valuation.
The only logical conclusion is it's been worked, including the warrants not helping. At some point it will rise, likely to go above the year high I would say in a short period as the company continue to grow. Short term pain long term gain.
Think the drop and recovery today was a good sign of a resurgence. Sometimes on AIM you just have to roll with it, when the mcap and sp are not reflecting the news and intrinsic value.
If this starts fairly well tomorrow, could see some nice gains into next week.
The warrants do appear to be slightly problematic but won't keep this down forever!
More positive news.
This was at 14p even before the first rig was mobilised first time round. We're actually in a much better position now.
The value of the resource is massive, sp is only deflated by lack of sentiment.
Any of those shallow targets work out in Q1 and 2, then huge upside. Sentiment and anticipation will drive the sp up before that though like it did before. Not long to wait. Get them now!
Sorry about the Q!

Good post Longwait.
You're quite right, this now becomes a good opportunity at these levels. You may get a better price, but at some point early next year, we're drilling. It's the same amount of time to wait as we have since phase 1 ended.
If people are selling from buying in at 20p plus, because they feel this will drift, to chase the next big thing, then they must have money to burn!
In the next 4 months this will likely be over 10p as the drills start and then 15p+ in anticipation of results, then either 20p+ on discovery or back down again where we are now if no discovery waiting for the bigger rig to arrive.
This is pretty much the same time since the first drill started back in June.
It's really not that long to wait. I accumulated from last December when I saw this as an excellent opportunity, I had to wait 7 months to derisk, but worth it.
This will be history repeating. Newbies will come in, price will rise and those complaining now will have missed the opportunity.
Well said skittish. If this had just come to market you'd be more than happy with this plan and £10m in the bank. As you say a chance to bash DM and the company more due to some unfortunate events over the last couple of months which had left some sat on paper losses.
Do people think the drilling campaign starting in Q1 is for fun?! Happy to hold and grab some cheap shares when opportunities arise.
I'm actually quite excited about the shallow drills as a cost effective method of a commercial discovery and possible quick way to market. I would like to know what their end game is with the shallow drills in more detail, but hopefully will be in the webinar.
The next 5 months could well be news rich.
Took a while for the market to react previously to Mexico going online, not until first numbers were released actually.
This time though we're going to see rns after rns regarding positive numbers and more territories. What's not to like!
