Piedmont are meant to pay the first $70m
Would expect the requirement for the funding to be this year…also breaking ground this year.
They had hoped to complete it last quarter and stated Q1 however that probably a stretch now. As long as ground gets broken this year all is good.
Major Tom, do you still believe completion of the off-take process will be this quarter?
Yeah slightly out of sync and pretty much at 52week lows 35c/34c. As opposed to 20.5p/16.15p The RNS resulted in a a drop, opportunity to buy inline with MIIF subscription is very much a buy imo.
~10% down on the ASX likely because of perceived delay. Probably see a break below 20p today($0.35aud=18p). Which would be a decent buying area imo as they are progressing on ALL fronts now.
I’d imagine it’s a closed period for board with the off-take negotiations.
The share price was 27p then volume picked/Sonangol approvals signed, so a ~27% share price increase to the recent high of 34.5p. In my opinion the market has not priced in the Azule deal yet, which when approvals are given, SP will react. Markets are forward looking. However, Risk is still priced in for that extra 12% deal. (Everyone thought the Sonangol deal would be signed last Christmas so I’m not surprised ;-) )
Stated arguments are on par with unlimited windfall tax from the North Sea.
Await gov approvals on Azule deal for the next catalyst.
Enough fruity organic growth with what Afentra have on the books to keep that exploration buzz alive :-)
A little bit childish/naive to assume Afentra’s board have control of a nations government…. It has been a comical timeline. However nothing substantial is being missed out on. Deal closed within 30 days, then roll on the next, no rush unless significant and priced well.
Best speed to production please. Sub 24 months to production makes it near term. Most beneficial companies are producing right now. I’m interested to see whether Atlantic Lithium see it through to production or bought out. Also how that effects the piedmont deal. Happy holder either way.
