PAUL! - For me, value is derived from the return you receive.

Zero return, means zero value.

Alternatively - the expectation of future cashflows, determines value.

The point here is - what expectation can we reasonably have in the next 12/24 months...or beyond.

Its a worrying situation as the current cash flowing assets will start to diminish, and the shareholders have seen nothing

You were relentlessly positive about UJO - no criticism sent there way could sway you or be unable to find a positive spin.

Lets see Itsawrap - So far, really good news has led to a drop in SP! Its baffled me at times.

Its hard to say " i feel for the directors" because they are earning a mint - but - in my view, they have done a good job - and I personally would not be drawing a single drop of oil out of British territory until the communists are out of government and stop stealing the money earned - Wressle profits may be offset by tax allowances for investment, so that might be fair enough, but why on earth would you invest millions in WN to get stuff out the ground, when the government will just walk in and take a major portion of the fruits of your labour.

Is it worth cutting losses now? Stock markets are taking a hit, and it may not be worth cutting losses here in UJO, and putting that money into the Stock markets for the inevitable bounceback. For me, the prospect of UJO providing a return to its shareholders is limited in the next 12 months - may aswell get some gain from the pittance we have left in UJO

It doesn't look like UJO is going to create any value for shareholders any time soon. So tariffs really won't affect UJO in any way that matters.

Near enough all here - have invested with zero return - criticism should be expected on the basis that the directors are a huge exception - in that, they have invested - with huge return - using our money

Dont get me wrong Micky - I do genuinely believe its been a difficult time, and there have been some good decisions. But shareholder value simply isnt there at the moment.

Not correct BigShow. But lets assume you are - and here are the facts.

If you invested 100000 shares in UJO 12, 6, 3 months ago,

12 months SP was 17.5ish - its now 11/12ish - you would be down around £6k

6 months SP was around 13p ish - you would be down around £1.5k

3 months SP was around 11p ish - you would be up about £500

So - we cant care about 1/2/3 years ago, and we can care about the current, and the current is also rubbish. So where are you going with this?

The facts of the matter is - the company is doing some great things, in very difficult circumstances - but the ONLY PEOPLE BENEFITTING ARE DIRECTORS.

No matter which way you square it - its the LTH's who have been shaft3d here. People investing in at around the 25-35p mark, on promises of huge drills and successes at WN and Wressle and all the others. The consolidation ripping your share value in pieces, but could half be justified by the need to fund capex - then when that capex is a success, and the effective loan from LTH's is insulted with a SBB programme that does nothing for LTH share value - pointless dividends - and worst of all, exorbitant salaries. 66p! I am not even sure i would believe it if i saw it - something would be done to take it away from LTH's!

I don't think the company is badly run - I see the return on investment as open for criticism. you seem to think criticism isn't acceptable.

I haven't sold, as I do think, eventually, long term, I will get my money back - but I didnt come into it to get my money back after 10 years, i wanted a return.

Further to the lack of return for shareholders, i think its quite poor how much money the Directors are taking compared with the returns to the investors.

Regardless of anybody's investing strategy, smart or not, doesn't negate this companies eligibility for criticism. Some criticism I see as valid, and some as not, and each persons personal stake and views will influence that.

However, I see it as an objective fact. The return on investment here, is open for criticism, including external factors. Those external factors are mitigations on the appropriate action to the criticism, but the criticism is fair game.

5 years in - zero return on this investment. I am not the only. And its the only fact that matters.

Rog - I think the BOD are doing a good job - but i am not here to congratulate them on a great job. I am here to make money.

What is there plan to reward shareholders. All i am interested in.

For me, at least have some skin in the game. Stop such exorbitant salaries, and buy some f****kin shares
