There has been solid buying all day. Is an RNS about to drop?
I have used Sainsburys for weekly shopping for many years.
I no longer find shopping there a pleasant experience.( Based on my local store Durham).
Many tills are unmanned and customers are frustrated at queuing .
Till conveyor belts are either broken or switched off presumably to save electricity.
Prices on made products show wild swings between one week and the next so savvy customers only buy on the dips.
Time to sell my shareholding .
If this share is going to soar why are there no Director purchases shown for 2018/9 ?
Haven`t seen the note. They have downgraded to under perform. Think I will top up today.
Jefferies.
Broker downgrade to £4.80
IMHO a radical overhaul of senior management is urgently required.
A year ago they turned down an offer of 1.2BN for the company. Its market value is now one third of that offer.
Maybe they can again remind us shareholders why they turned away Mediclinic.
I also understand that staff morale is very low .
After studying shares for 30 years I am at a loss as to what is going on with this share .
Has the market decided that a bid is now unlikely?
After being featured on BBC 10pm news bulletin I`m surprised the share price hasnt nose dived. I still think the CEO should be suspended or step aside whilst the investigation goes on. It takes years to build a brand but it can be lost very quickly.
Can anyone explain what is involved in appointing a NOMAD?
Why is it taking so long?
IMHO this share will flounder until an appointment is announced.
Even though the CEO owns 35% ,if he wants to save the brand he created he should step down immediately.
The existing directors won a majority and should be allowed to get on with building the business.
If the former chief executive is determined to change the strategy and have directors that he approves of, then,in my opinion, he needs to put together a bid for the company .Continued conflict could seriously damage the business.
I have been an investor in this Company for a number of years and have seen the share price volatility many times. In November the share price was 45p and then a share issue took place at a 20% discount (34.4p) so we are still not back where we were before that issue. I think this project will go ahead in maybe 3/5 years time but I fear a lot of dilution of private investors may take place in the meantime. GLA.
Boy am I glad to be out of this one.
It looks as though the general meeting was solely for the passing of resolutions relating to incentive awards , and that an opportunity to update long suffering investors on progress being made was missed.
