£3 post RI would be the equivalent of £12 pre RI (very rough maths).

It makes no sense - sales yesterday totalled almost 15mil after close ( not including UT) and price shot up this morning. From experience, I would say it makes no difference.

Nicely put. Some of these posts actually make me LOL. Like it’s going make any difference to SP.

Also, FTSE overall is dropping but SP is sticking which is always a good sign.

The higher it goes, the more attractive the RI is looking. Rolls knew what they were doing when they set the rules for RI - not great for longer term investors with no spare cash but a magnet for everyone else who thinks the company has a future.

What you’ll find is the majority of people holding shares at between that window will be long termers so I think movement will be dictated more so by market sentiment. Shorters will be in hibernation until RI kicks in after 23rd Oct.

Agree - everyone wants a piece of action (too much of a good opportunity to miss IMO).

A day late and dollar short IMO - the damage has already been done. Although this will no doubt bring with it some positive sentiment which may see travel stocks stabilise/slightly increase over the coming weeks (‘may’ being the keyword).

Take up rights issue (if you’re in a position to do so). Airport testing just around the corner which bring along some positivity for travel sector.

I echo the sentiment here. And there’s a possibility that the share price may stabilise now or slightly increase as people invest to put themselves in contention for discounted shares. If we knew for sure we’d all be millionaires.
