RE: no vote12 May 2017 12:22
Maybe Sprott are holding less than 1% and therefore do not need to notify?
According to my historic screen shots I keep of the Marl Capital Structure webpage, Sprott reduced from 6,805,388 in March this year, to 5,684,451 as shown in the current one dated 20th April.
Resource Capital funds also reduced from 3,615,000 to 3,015,000 in the same period and they also haven't notified yet.
The Arbs have managed to take a big long position between the lot of them. Where did those shares come from?
To gauge the current % and the chance of a yes vote going through, only based on the known voters of yes/no at this time(obviously more will vote),
The only confirmed 'No' votes are 'us lot' so far, with 4m shares
The only confirned 'yes' votes total 8.7m(I dont think Sandstorm shares can vote, or can they?), as mentioend in the 26th April press release.
Therefore my poll of known voters has the 'yes' camp at 68% of the vote, so just short of the 75% required. Remember they don't need 75% of the shares in issue, just 75% of those that vote. But I'm assuming the Arbs will vote 'yes' :-(
Sold down the river for a song!!!
An expected 'yes' vote is more likely to flush out a bidder now, than one hoping to punce on a 'no' vote.
The deal on the table atm is worth £1.0058, based on SANDS closing SP last night and $/£
