Afetrnoon Boss.... Just wondering if you or anyone would be kind enough to have a look at this one and share ones thoughts with one! I have been hoping for some positive news on this and have started spread betting on this one aswell accordingly..... Final positive news has not yet happened for me and im getting bored (attention span of a gnat) Any thoughts or shall I just put me stops in place and walk away and come back in a month? Thanks all..... Off to the garage to fill the car (every little helps!) ITF

With all the world deciding they want to buy uk's utilities I wonder in we may see a helping hand to get us back to over £6..... Divis get paid Monday I think.... ITF

Waiting quite a while for my £5!!! Never mind, these have always been a long term hold for me due the divis... I will wait for news, short them to £4 and then use the profits to buy some more in my ISA.... Good luck all..... ITF

LOL.... Never mind! Im not having a very good day! I decided not to short the ftse and went long on bp! Big mistake! My shares in GKP rose nicely but are currently down about 10% from the highest! Nice work with BP...... I too have a small holding in there, so am hoping for £5 soon aswell, I have only been trading for 3 years but have managed to do really well out of Lloyds and am hoping to do the same with BP. I am about 10p away from break even as I bought some 2 years ago at a lot more than they are now and have bought more to average down. Wish id bought more at £3 now! Just got to decide when to sell a few as I dont feal really comfortable holing as many as I have got long term, I may buy some unilever. Any thoughts on any other shares that I should look at that pay good divs that are fairly safe and "boring"? ITF

Goose - What do you mean? I think by the end of the year this is quite possible, its not a ramp, just an observation, this share is a slow dividend payer...... Fattyman - True, after some thinking I tend to agree, I thank Bonz for his thoughts but at the moment I want to build the diversity of my portfolio aswell as value, I dont want to many eggs in one basket...... Holding it back? Mate, this is a slow steady share, up nicely again today, I'm sure it will slowly rise to £6 by the end of the year, however if it keeps this up it will be more!!! Great divi, great idea Bonz..... I'm looking into it for my bp and Tate aswell, thanks..... ITF

Not long till were both in profit on bp now!!!! :-)) Another nice steady rise today, I think that with a slow rise over the year the grid should easily hit £6.00 I'm looking forward to a good feed of my divi in a couple of weeks, may even get the wife some flowers aswell!!! ITF

Could be a good time to get back in or even look to trade this for a quick 10% for me.... Drop looks well over done, I like the fact that a lot of staff seam to be taking up share options at work, shows long term confidence... I let you know if I get back in.... Are you in this big at the mo? ITF

A nice rise so far today, I'm now almost at break even again after the oo, now looking forward to some extra dividends..... A better return than having cash in the bank.... A boring, hopefully safe share! Mind you i did think that about bp!!!! ITF

Just bought 50,000 shares at £5.25? It jumped 5% in a minute? then back? Increased share price due to volume? Thoughts? ITF

I'm hoping that my bp and gkp come good so i can get a few more of these. Took out the cash in the wifes ISA that earnt me a massive £20 last year and have already had twice that in 6 months, now looking foward to a good return in august.... ITF

What a day ive had...... Gutted to see this bellow 1p now was hoping that this was as low as it was going to go. Im thinking of getting a few more to average down but really dont have the spare funds as Im quite heavy in a couple of others that I was hoping for a fairly quick return on that havent come good yet! The reason I am in these is that a mate of mine works for them and for the last few months has smashed targets, most other branches have seen better sales as well. Looking good on the ground, I was just looking at the 5 year chart and cant believe how thios share seams to mirror the general market condition ( apart from ri ) so its a great recovery stock for me with a few day trades to increase my holding (hopefully!!) and then I shall treat myself to a spanky new motor.... Thats the idea anyway!! ITF
