Posted before but:
Now, its been touched on but perhaps not as much as one would like. Since the storm posters have had there daily screams off. I believe its time to shed some (what I would call) interesting information.
So, according to morningstar, Polar Capital Biotech S Inc currently hold as of Apr 30, 2020, 5.22% of the shares in the company. Exactly 5,714,286.
We know Lansdowne have been reducing there holding, and there's speculation that they've sold the lot. (Not been confirmed yet however). But many, including myself believe there dumping is solely based due to the distress and poor performance throughout the last year.
But what we do know is there hasn't been a TR-1 released to cement Polar Capitals position.
Why all off a sudden are they taking a stake? It seems an awfully big gamble to take on what many consider a binary bet. Surely they see further than the covid play? Perhaps.
I look through there funding/investments to see what other stocks they have £ injected in.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc - 608.59 USD (NASDAQ)
Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated - 270.85 USD (NASDAQ)
Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. - 115.99 USD (NASDAQ)
These are just 3 companies they hold a position in OVER 5%. As of 29th MAY 2020.
Therefore if updated accordingly, Synairgen would fit into the list and sit amongst some real big timers over on the US Market.
But once again, nothing is shown or updated?
For me, whatever Polar Capital see here is way beyond the means of just a 'covid play'. I believe we're onto something big here.
Provide links as ever for research.
All imvho.
