I also remember loan notes being 'converted' in CloudTag and they used it to cover up payments / fraudulent documents etc, the list goes on.

NOT saying for a second all companies are like this, at all. But the use of loan notes has never been favoured by myself.

I hate the comparison posters make with ODX/NCYT, they're 2 very similar but different beasts, both in the fight against the virus. However, results are due over at Novacyt very soon on sales/figures etc and im half inclined to believe they'll be in for a potential shock. Granted they've done exceptionally well over the last 12 months and have truly taken the term "early bird catches the worm" to a whole new level. But, and here's the contradicting view, the game is changing fast and as we know testing specifically is becoming more advanced with Antigen/Antibody LFT's like ourselves that are more accurate than ever. If and a big IF Omega can deliver a successful TT transfer and perhaps a few bits and bats on MHRA/FDA application approvals, I reckon we could see a wave of new investments move into here and fast. Optimistic thinking perhaps, but certainly realistic with how fast the market changes especially on AIM.

My opinion as ever, exciting few weeks / months ahead.

If it is our test that was being referred to as 'approved by the MHRA' then an RNS will certainly be needed tomorrow morning prior market opening. If its not, which I believe to be the case, we can take from this that testing is here to stay, and a cash cow going into 2021 and further into 2022 and beyond.

Below the mid price hence showing as a sell, but yes, strike price above or circa 93p are more than likely buys. Smoke and mirrors but all will be transparent in a very short time.

Indeed it should Persimmon. However its important to add the asterisk resembles that Abingdon have voluntary withdrawal rather than 'booted off' so to speak. Why? No-one knows for sure, but in my honest opinion going on recent news and research articles is that the UK has decided to put British companies first in the fight against covid. From my understanding when the consortium was made up, the uk-gov had and still has priority over the EU/US market, with this being said and perhaps a biased opinion the demand for the UK in which Omega can produce outweighs what they can realistically supply overseas and have left no option to withdraw. We know how quiet omega have been, and yet still they increase capacity and employees, why?

I probably speak on behalf of a lot of investors here as to say I'm concerned. But you've also gotta question the strategic reason as to why this was withdrawn. We know the UK are focusing on home grown testing companies, and with recent news on CITY AM the 'finger prick' testing is being phased in. Now if I put 2+2 together here I'd say the demand for our tests in the United Kingdom outweigh what we can produce over for the states (US) and therefore the decision has been made to withdraw. Tactical play...

Why? No one knows for sure. I perhaps have a biased view on things but I'd say its due to the demand and priorities in the UK.

But to answer your question, yes it was pulled voluntary.

The focus on testing in the UK has shifted to backing our own British companies, example:- surescreen (start up company) Abingdon Health are part of the consortium set up by the government and id say the 'voluntary withdrawal* would be to preserve our own tests for the UK alone.

The asterisk means it was voluntary removed, there could be many reasons for this...

Whatever reason, they did it of their own back, it was removed through choice which leads me to believe its a strategic move. The US is a huge market and to just jump out at what seems the final stages would suggest to me there's a bigger fish elsewhere.

I could be completely wrong but back to my comment earlier on increasing work capacity..... it doesn't add up.

My take on it, after hearing a few others, is that it COULD of been voluntary removed. There's only so many tests Abingdon can produce and with the UK phasing in finger prick tests as mentioned on the CITY AM site, it'd make sense now the UK Gov are focusing on British Testing companies to keep it all for ourselves.

How I see it, omega for months now have been putting up job vacancies almost every week, and have expanded up to approximately 140 employees in this time. Does anyone seriously believe they're increasing in size to just stand around and make teas and coffees? Yes, the silence has been worrying at times, but I'll always go back to the point I've made above. No CEO of any company would ever maximise capacity for it to be a duff, and if they did their name would laughed upon wherever they went. Colin seems very shroud and excuse the stereotype but a scotman doesn't wave his cash around lightly. I

Take of it what you will but I'm backing this company all the way and expect them to deliver in the short term.
