RE: Question23 Aug 2022 23:02
here's an interesting paragraph from the 18.03.22 Interims. 'The properties not have not been revalued since 1999.' so the current value of the property portfolio is anyone's guess. imo JDW should revalue the portfolio about every 5 years, any thoughts?
"As at 24 July 2011, the company’s freehold/ leasehold split was 43.4%/56.6%. As at 23 January 2022, as a result of investment in freehold reversions (relating to pubs where the company was previously a tenant) and freehold pub openings, the split was 67.8%/32.2%. As at 23 January 2022, the net book value of the property, plant and equipment
of the company was £1.4 billion, including £1.1 billion of freehold and long-leasehold property. The properties have not been revalued since 1999."
