Lloyds conducted the buy-backs in a low interest rate economy, although it may appear that it had no effect imo it stopped the sp dropping significantly. Then end of the buy-back more or less coincided with a rapidly rising interest rate environment which is of course great for a retail bank like Lloyds hence the rise in the sp. The UJO buy-back will be good for the sp, it is slowly but surely building momentum.

when the buy-back started at the end of October the sp was 33p, it has slid over 20% since then because the broker and/or UJO doesnt appear to have a support level in mind. DB says UJO is greatly undervalued, why should investors believe him when the buy-back program clearly doesn't support the CEOs words. Is it any surprise that the sp slips and slips? When EDR announces the new production numbers for Wressle, I believe the sp will bounce back strongly - perhaps to the mid 30s. If I'm right, shares bought back thereafter will cost the company 20% more when they could be buying them more cheaply now. all in my opinion of course

it's always hard to cut your losses and walk away especially as there always seems to be good news just around the corner. Personally I think the sp is going to have a good H1, I was buying around 1.1 to 1.2 as I see Wressle as being a big part of EOGs success this year. As some will know I recently emailed S.O. asking him to use the $10m net revenue Wressle milestone as a major PR coup - unfortunately he hasnt replied but I am hopeful he will tweet or RNS this week. He did tweet the $9.75m after UJO RNS'ed their $13m milestone so perhaps he will surprise us...ever hopeful!

blimey heid, I agree with you! it was nothing to do with fracking, the Interims were due in Sept confirming a maiden profit, the divi/buy-back announcement was expected, the WN CPR was due, the Wressle R&R Report was due and the $10m milestone was expected, all these events were expected in a fairly short time-frame so that's what drove the sp up to 52p imo. experienced investors (not including me unfortunately) knew that the sp was getting ahead of itself and precipitated the crash by selling hard

I expect the sp to quickly reach the mid 30's and as the year progresses and WN, Kedd and possibly Bisc are being progressed, the sp will reflect the tremendous potential each project promises

"UJO is commonly perceived as an explorer" 100% wrong imo. I believe the reason why the sp is currently where it is, is because the market is valuing it as "just" a producer and ignoring the potential of all the other projects which has been delayed & delayed & delayed. In March 2021 the sp was 41p immediately after the consolidation, since then UJO has received $13m net from Wressle but not got anywhere with the other projects meaning most, if not all of the speculation has dropped out of the sp. Once investors start gambling on WN or Bisc or Kedd the sp will reflect the potential, all imo of course

unfortunately not, shares held in treasury are not revalued in the P&L. Obviously if they are sold at a later date - for example to an II - that would be reflected in the P&L

based on UJO's $13m RNS for Wressle, I'm confident that EOG is about to hit $10m net revenue - I really hope SO puts out an RNS or at the very least a tweet

I have a theory pboo, yesterday during their lunch break the operators switched off the C65's, just for an hour of course. Meanwhile, the broker's spy, sitting quietly in the adjacent wood in his gilly suit, frantically called his boss in London and said "the turbines are off-line so it's no longer classed as inside, quick, buy 50'000 shares before they come back from lunch!"
