Buybacks normally decrease the share price not improve as you all suggest.
I have seen loads of shares drop considerably on buybacks so be careful what you wish for !!

That's were value is for any sale of GKP.
For maximum value it will have to be 25 years minimum if only 10 years left the krg could just let GKP run that down and then GKP has value ??
For maximum value the PSC for 25 years P2 reserves 1B barrels and FDL where 150kbopd can be achieved in the next 5 years. And most important a regular payment structure .
If all them boxes get ticked then maybe £5 sale will be a possibility???

Something needs to change from the KRG if they want to move forward as a nation.

If I was GKP now I would reduce Capex by 50% to maintain existing cash flows and nice dividends.
I'm sure they could easily maintain 50kbopd for a few years.

How many barrels were produced in September 2022 ??
If around 45kbopd the Krg are only paying gkp $22 !!
Correct me if I'm wrong maybe there a maintenance shut down for a week or so in September as the payment is very low .

My personal opinion is a hydrocarbon law will never be passed!! These rag heads can't agree what biscuits to eat in these meeting .
I'm happy to just take the dividend every 3 months and a few trades just after x divi date . Just happy to see GKP plod on to be honest.
Capital growth won't be much as most of the cash goes to shareholders.
T/O if any will be around £5 and that's production at 85kbopd.
