Just looking at the RNS the cooper is far far down... 500 metres plus but look how low those high grade gold results are

Most are between half and 3 metres down!

To put this in perspective, i posted this the other day

The World Gold Council defines a high-quality underground mine as having a gold ore density between 8 and 10 g/t (grams per ton), while a low-quality underground mine has a gold ore density of 1 to 4 g/t.

Open-pit mines tend to have a lower grade, but they can be considered very valuable because of the lower average operating costs necessary to obtain them.

Highest Grade Gold Mines in the World
The highest-grade gold mine in the world is the Fire Creek mine in Battle Mountain, Nev., according to 2015 data. With a gold ore density of 44.1 g/t, Fire Creek falls high above Macassa, the second highest grade mine at 22.2 g/t, which is located in Kirkland Lake, Ontario

or 4.4 ounces per tonne) within the mineralised zone and highlight the
potential for Havieron to represent a very large mineralised system;

include 121m at 2.93g/t gold (Au) and 0.23% copper (Cu) from 497m to 618m

o 1m at 15.60g/t Au from 535m;

· 0.5m at 137.69g/t Au and 1.84% Cu from 573m
§ 3m at 19.96g/t Au and 0.87% Cu from 574.5m including:
· 0.5m at 100.15g/t Au and 4.11% Cu from 575.5m
§ 2m at 40.63g/t Au and 0.66% Cu from 578m including
· 0.5m at 90.52g/t Au and 0.74% Cu from 578.5m, and
· 0.5m at 63.55g/t Au and 0.34% Cu from 579.5m;
o 8m at 3.45g/t Au and 0.13% Cu from 598m.
· Elevated gold and copper results persisted to end of hole
suggesting the mineralisation continues at depth, which is supported by the
results of forward modelling of detailed geophysical data (see announcement
dated 14 February 2018);
· First drilling campaign at Havieron comprised four vertical core
holes for a total of approximately 2,400 metres, results for three remaining
holes (HAD002, HAD003 and HAD004) are pending and are expected to be available
within the coming weeks

What do we have at black hills?

Rock chip samples have returned up to 90g/t gold, and commonly 20g/t gold, with free (visible) gold in places. Drill intercepts include 3m at 9.14g/t gold from 26m downhole (incl. 1m at 21.2g/t from 27m (CBR073)), 1m at 10.0g/t gold from 16m (CBH138), 1m at 4.93g/t from 12m (CBH071) and 1m at 3.12g/t from 37m (NBH004). Historical drill spacing appears quite broad with holes at least 400m apart, some up to 600m.

Strong surface gold mineralisation is present at the Saddle Reefs prospect with rock chips including 55.6g/t, 20.0g/t, 19.65g/t, 18.45g/t and 17.0g/t over an area of approximately 1,400m x 800m. The zone has a north-westly trend and sporadic drilling with results including 3m at 9.14g/t gold from 26m downhole, including 1m at 21.2g/t from 27m, in hole CBR073. This zone is in the core of an anticlinal feature and, overall, is gold prospective over a strike length of approximately 3km.

At the Eastern prospect a linear zone of gold mineralised stratigraphy is apparent over a strike of approximately 4km. Surface rock chip results include 1.9g/t gold, 1.2g/t gold and 1.0g/t gold. Broad spaced drilling along the zone has returned results including 1m at 10.0g/t gold from 16m (CBH138), 1m a 4.93g/t from 12m (CBH071) and 1m at 3.12g/t from 37m (NBH004). The mineralisation appears to track along a structural contact and the focus will be on identifying the higher grade mineralisation along this trend.

The other prospects of Rogers and Northern Granites show prospective gold mineralisation at surface with rock chip results including 50.2g/t and 10.45g/t at Rogers and 6.9g/t at Northern Granites. Drill testing is limited but results have included 1m at 1.48g/t from 38m (NBH008)

Well we will see what the affect of the buy ins will be tomorrow, I thinthisnhas gone so low most would be happy to see this rise... I would love to recover my paper loss... and there are quite a few in the same situation as me, so I'm grabbing all the positives I can and the last RNS adds to a positive outcome... I'm hoping

The rise last year was based on Newmont The rise now is based on solid gold we have found.. that tells me that we ar 're rating on a solid foundation not just sentiment! Looking to see us double this When more black hills data is released... near surface is the key, sandwiched between two key players Forget the Tasmanian proje us.. too far out and hard to get to but black hills is in the sweetspot
