I have been in and out of NOP over the years, initially making handsome profits on the early big climb up north of 100p. I have formed the opinion that Northerns problems stem from the Geographical area it operates in. You just cant do business in Itally. Their business ethic when it come to outsiders is '' Winner takes it all '' and they will only see themselves as winners even though they are blind with all their arns and legs chopped of. Nothing would suit the Italian economy better than to do a bit of oil business but some local heffe grande will scupa things until we give it all to him. Holland is similar......they are little nation dont you know, so if we do business with them and we make a profit we must be stealing from a poor little nation that has always had a terrible time of things........we shouldnt do that. We should clear out of these areas and head back to the North Sea. post provoking I hope.........but this is my take on why we just dont seem to make progress with our licences Selling out of Gyana will be a terrible mistake......rather lets buy more into the Carribean.......Gyana Surinam etc

Gloomy article in IC today on TPJ Suspension of drilling has put dampener on things.......but ?? Newcrest have some samploe results to come out shortly which are from our side of a boundary with waffi-Golpu. Also they try to put a shine on things by saying that we have 3 properties bourdering waffi-Golpu. How about that then ? Financial mags are very boring just mnow with FTSE pointed down but dow due to go up 2000 points.........well if Obama wins which no doubt he will.

This is the sequence... TPJ in freefall over many months even as drilling takes place on highly prospective ground. There is a MASSIVE find within spitting distance and just over the boundary in neighbouring lease. GA finds some very interesting mineralization and pull cores which will give info on structure and lithology. Time goes by as Geologists work out structure and lithology ........and .......then....... Yip..................... they buy up the rest of the Volcano Dhuurrr Short sellers have done their job. Who brokers for GA. They are good. Who brokers for us ?? So I am going for 20p a share min

Your in a good place mate 9f you are in the money. I am well out and with a fair chunk. Looking at the webb site and maps of the area.......GA have bought up the rest of the volcano. TJP holding looks like a thorn in their side........so I am expecting GA to make an offer so they have the whole pud. If you are going to buy someone out make it look as bad as you can and make an offer when the market is toes up.......like now and offer the MD a fat juicy place on your board.........or say General Manager for International Travel and Hotel Bookings and special adviser to the Chairman. Watch this space. Personally I will say OK to 8p to 10p NOW We all know there is a fat mine there......and some massive grades will appear if indeed we dont already have some. A good model is VGM which I believe is similar in provenance and structure though clearly most of the high grades discovered decades ago has been mined out. One thing for certain is GM will not carry us into production so lets hope our board are shareholder driven.......I wont even ask how many shares they have
