By not passing the 1 actual referendum to become a state, NT has left them in a weaker position if Turnbull wanted to come in and say no, you actually are going to frack. The last stat I saw was the NT received $4.60 for every $1 in GST received in the territory. You think Gunner has the 'bigones" to take this to a referendum and **** off the commonwealth?? I don't. Plus, he has given zero evidence that this is even under consideration.

WW, that April 3rd date came from a NT opinion article that I posted a few weeks ago. Can't recall the exact one. He stated the NT government would rule on April 3. I haven't seen that anywhere else. But, it is just the 8 member cabinet that will decide. Parliament does not need to be in.

Gunner has stated he will be making a decision based on what the inquiry says. The inquiry is looking at fracking from a scientific stand point. At what point did Gunner say he was going to look at any polls? On a side note, read the old NT News report on the review of the draft report released in December. Pangaea is out again suggesting a supply hub would be needed in Katherine or Daly Waters. I know it's hard to predict the SP with the news in the next few weeks. Since I am still here, I am still expecting good news. Even added this week. Feb 15th, 2017 is the day we found out how big the material gas resource was. Stock had a 3 month run. Went from around $.09 CND to $.49. And, this was while we have the moratorium. The Kyalla formation and it's potential is on top of those numbers. Resource is even better than we thought on Feb 15th, 2017. I know there are a few guesses on future prices. I'm not going to guess at a future price, but I do think we might be in for a bit of a ride. :-)

I believe the moratorium will be lifted as well. Not sure I think there will be time restrictions added with water studies currently going on. I see region bans though. Something like not drilling within 2km of town. I think one area has that already? Maybe NSW? That may help keep the locals happy. Most will be quite happy with a lift and the SP will appreciate. How much? We will see I guess. Drilling plans will determine that. Still think if the moratorium wasn't delayed, the SP would have been stable at about 20% higher than we currently are.

I don't think it helps at all. This article says the liberals want a 10 year fracking ban in the south east part of SA. Labor was for fracking. I don't think we will have an exact date or time for the release. Final draft came out with no warning. Greenies think it will be March 26th. I haven't seen that date. Yes, Santos said they would add 2300 jobs. That's on top of what Pangaea has stated. Here is Santos's last submission to the inquiry dated Feb 25. Greenies are funny. They started LTG and supported shale gas as they were against coal. Now, shale is the bad guy. Also, they say they don't want the water affected. They don't mention the fact that the gas companies sure as hell don't want water in their gas! Time to lift the Naomitorium!!!!
