Something’s amiss, great progress, great divi, great earnings, fundamentals improving ,even oil price is holding up. Yet price is down?, share getting battered, why.
Fair dealer, Correct, it’s plain stupid, they view last rns, and reasoning goes out the window and they sell. Then others jump ship based on price dropping but don’t know why, I’m guessing a few that bought at 27p will have bought more today.
Correct, I’ve sold out a position in another company to buy more. The price is very generous, I see this as an opportunity. Good luck all holders, I will switch off till tomorrow as I can’t effect the price, I suggest others do the same, a few pence here and there doesn’t matter when you’re looking at the long game.
per RNS The Company remains committed to delivering a sustainable monthly dividend as part of its total return model, with an underlying policy of distributing up to 30% of free cash flow back to shareholders. Due to strong operational, drilling and financial performance and supported by current cash flow forecasts, the Company intends to increase the committed dividend payment for 2022 in due course. We will find out this week.
we have the waiting buyers on the side lines, struggling to make a decision, should I wait and hope it drops a bit more or should I buy now and go about my day. I made my decision based on the 16m facts high value investors bought into yesterday and bought more today, its not a sprint its more like 800m.
I do realise many with cash or who sold in the run up will be looking to buy back in. They want the price to go down as they see it as an opportunity to also buy at a discounted price. I for one think those selling now are being mugged and those buying now will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Why would they fall to 27p, this isn’t a company placing. We have A large holder selling 20% of their shares to its clients at a discounted price of 27p The buyers at 27p can sell them all or part at a profit in 3 months time or they can keep them Why would they all sell them, alternatively why would they all keep them, everyone who has shares in any company has the same decision to make on a daily basis. For instance I bought mine under 20p, I plan to keep them for now, will look to sell 50% if the shares reach 40p ish.
Seems prudent, free carry with all the benefits at zero cost. I would go further and say it also helps partnerships evolve, looking at EOG and its licences for example, they have 2 good ones in Morocco and Ireland, they could be of interest to I3e if all goes well with Serenity, even if it doesn’t i3e have a large foot in the door and will be fully briefed on EOG’s aspirations and assets.
I note I3e are still open to further buy-ins and offers to participate in the serenity drill. I’m wondering who could be interested , if it’s a small oil co and whether a placing is imminent and should I free up some cash now. EDR with a placing circa 3p would interest me.
That’s my thoughts, gas price increases are relentless, while oil prices are levelling out, this augers well for shareholders who buy into gas producing companies at this time.
Tony, do you have latest price for boepd gas equivalent price compared to say c$100 a bopd What’s 6000 cubic feet of gas worth these days, I know it’s going up as I see it in the wholesale prices and my bills, they say we should expect further increases in October.
Thanks for the replies, why I went with IG in the first place I don’t know. I will probably just take the wife out for fish and chips at the local with this weeks divi, so as not to be unfair I will provide an update as to when the cash is in my account.
