EOG is starting to move up a bit, if you don’t want to lose out grab yourself a small piece of the cake, in the mean time what’s peoples thoughts on UJO buying a larger percentage of Wressle, it must be in their thoughts if EOG and I3 do the business with this appraisal well, EOG will need cash to move this forward and pay for their 25%., do they sell all 30% of wressle, do they keep 10/20%, maybe just 9% so no one partner has overall control, maybe they just borrow the cash.

Just a thought.
If this drill comes good, do we think EOG will look to monetise their wressle 30% holding to UJO for example, good fit as known partner already owing 1m with UJO £10m cash in the bank. This would help pay their way towards future NS appraisal wells

My last post on this, Tony is right, this isn’t a forum for politics.

You have been brain washed by the media, the thing is you don’t even see it.
The daily put downs of Scotland by a country that’s trillions in debt and they make out the Scot’s are the scroungers.
You first have to realise Scotland only has 8.3% of the UK population, but they also have.
32% of the land, 61% of the sea area.
90% of the fresh water, 65% of natural gas production, 96.5% of crude oil production.
47% of open cast coal production, 62% of timber production, 92% of hydro electric production.
40% of wind, wave and solar production, 60% of dairy herd, 60% of fish landings.
100% of scotch whisky and 70% of gin production.

I could go on, but I can’t be bothered typing, Scotland is a small country with huge assets and a small population, if they were actually creating a deficit for the UK, I’m pretty sure they would be dumped and pronto.

I forgot to add they have the 4th largest financial services in Europe worth over £1 trillion and another 1.5 trillion of oil and gas reserves.

Don’t believe the nonsense you read in the media, it’s there to scare people from voting for independence.

Labour or Tory I’ve a feeling it will only get worse if we just allow the Tory party to shrink the state and privatise the NHS. The Freeport / charter cities angle also feels wrong, I also don’t like where they are going with the human rights act or the plan to ditch all business regs for SME’s with less than 500 employees. It looks like they ditched the tax cuts for super rich, the timing for doing that was outrageous.
So I’m voting SNP, both the tories and labour would be a nightmare.

They need to get this Corallian £32 million Gross to Oil & Gas Major over the line pronto.
The markets obviously think not with the price reflecting that.

The two guys running the show have bled RBD dry, they have probably taken out more cash than the company’s worth, maybe they should buy some back and stop with the take, take take, let’s see their concern for the share holders plight, we are not all multi millionaires like them, they need to start giving a bit back to stop this downward trend.

I can’t understand some of the deals, especially the private company ones, buying parts of this and bits of that, it seems the guys in charge are being paid through multiple sources of income and directorships.
They are not focused on delivering for RBD shareholders is my opinion, why would they be given the wealth they are accumulating through multiple enterprises.
They really need to follow the lead given by UJO marketing wise and get the message out. It just feels like they lack interest in delivering value to holders.

If they do go ahead with as stated a £12.5m drill on land, they must be pretty sure of success.
The first drill and gas produced will subsidise the next and so on, they will either have to sell assets or borrow to get the first one away, why they want to keep buying other assets like Simwell is beyond me, WN if they have faith should be taking up the entirety of their time and energy.

The facts as I see them.
You were arguing semantics with someone you had previous with on the EOG message board.
It had nothing to do with any ramping crew, the guys you were messaging with had been posting on that message board during the lead up to the wressle drill and know it’s history.
The word you misspelled was you’re, or you are. you used your, I’ve done the same when I’m posting quickly, that was just a reminder we are all human and we all make mistakes.
The revenue post of $9m from wressle and other EOG wells is a close guesstimate of earnings This figure was used imo because EOG haven’t as yet provided a cash in hand figure.

If anyone hasn’t bought into EOG, it’s still going cheap at 2.15p, and £20m mcap and a lot less than Tony or I paid, let’s see a nice rise both here and there leading up to results.

The gilt market freeze was creating a cash collateral shortfall for pension funds, and as a result banks were at risk of serious losses on derivatives. We've seen this movie before and we know it ends with large quantities of blood on the floor. That's what the Bank of England feared. It intervened to stop the bleeding before it became a haemorrhage.

When you dig deeply enough into a financial crisis, you almost always find it's really about banks.
