H&L are showing around a 9% holding. Is this total made up of clients like myself holdings or the companies private holdings?

I spoke to my son after the news broke this morning about the Jubilee sale of the chrome business. He knows quite a bit about investing and futures trading. He told me I should be okay as there will be a bull run on copper at some time in the next three years. I only have 750000 shares so am going stick with Jubilee for the time being and hope that we see an uptick in copper production in the few months.

We know from the results on the 4th March (end of year 31 Dec 24) that Medium term guidance was reaffirmed.

"The Group is expected to reach adjusted EBITDA breakeven in FY27 and become cash flow positive in FY28".

Nothing to get too excited about but if this cash flow positive date is brought forward because of increased growth then that would be helpful.

I think we will have to wait until late July to see a good up tick in share price because we should get the half year RNS with details of when ONT will get into profit. Or a good medical development before then.

Today’s RNS shows he has increased his stake from 24/4 when it showed 12.186% to 14.046%

Lets hope this leads to a bid soon.

I think if it passes the 160 per share it will be a seen as a success.

I agree with AUM needs a good improvement and the Interactive Investor doubling its users would also be a positive.

Q3 Trading update is due early next week let’s hope it’s positive. If so we could see a nice bounce.

Last Friday plus Monday & Tuesday of this week at 4.35 there is a pattern of 1 million pounds being spent on buying shares in one go on each of these days.

The lower price is caused by too much supply. If the this happensit probably won’t be until next summer. Trump doesn’t get sworn in until January.

Trump needs inflation to stay down plus his voters to feel better off and reducing Oil prices by more production will achieve a feel good factor for his supporters along with tax cuts. I am only repeating what was said by republicans earlier today as a way of dealing with some of there inflationary policies.

With Trumps victory comes lower oil prices because of more US drilling and supply some comments by republicans are saying they would like the oil price to go down to 50$ a barrel.

Not sure what this does to the Serica future share price but I’m still a hold on the share as long as the dividend holds.

Maybe the deal has been rejected and the board might have got there marching orders from the main shareholders. Wishful thinking I know.

Today was a hit on all the Insurance/Pension stocks after in some cases a couple of weeks of gains for the majority. Just give it time and when the interest rate reduces and hopefully no bad news in the budget for sector they should all recover nicely.

I sold my holding yesterday because my profit went over what I would have received when the dividend is paid in early December.

I then bought the same quantity again this morning as it’s a long time to ex dividend day 7/11.

Look at the late purchases on this site and there’s one there for 472000. This has helped to push the after time closing price up to a good finish to the week.

Div just arrived on H&L

Wait and see. The share has been on an upward trend since the 20/9 when it finished at a low 223.70. Since then only 1 day L&G has finished lower than previous day and that was only 30p down.

Both my other income generating shares ABDN & ASHM have gone up a lot since there recent lows.

On the last shares day on the rns list 18/9 there was 2,886,809 purchased. The previous purchase day to the above there were only 138,774 purchased.

I think this is good news as we will now see how the market reacts without buybacks.

I think we should be asking the person who deleted the KOTB post to reinstate the post.

Most of the time the people who run the site are really good on deleting abusive content, political abuse and other poor messages but it appears that they might have got it wrong on this one.
