Those blocks CON are in the republic of Congo if I am not mistaken. Where on the map doese Angola start, I can’t seem to find border markings.

gmcc. Looking at the map the blocks CON1-CON9 look interesting. Only block CON4 looks to be occupied by none other than Sonangol, could they be our new neighbors. I don’t know how the Infrastrata is there but that’s for another day.

I shall try to link the whole artical but this small snippet caught my eye.

Angola’s production levels are expected to increase by 2020 as the country is undergoing industry restructuring, including the “regeneration” (reorganization) of the state oil company Sonangol in addition to the revision of legislation related to oil and gas. The Government of Angola’s intent is to spur growth in the sector, encouraging exploration in development areas, improving operation efficiencies, reducing taxes, empowering the private sector, and attracting investors.

gmcc, good find and thank you. I can’t see us taking on anything off shore as it is far too expensive to drill and there is an abundance of on shore for the taking. Angola is not as stable as the Congo so DS will need to tread carefully but the returns could be fantastic if the right deal is done.

Good morning angela, may I comment on your post from last night, in it you said “irishmouse demonstrates the sentiment of the BB by saying he believes there will be no fund raising, to state otherwise is a load of rubbish.”

I don’t believe that I actually posted that however I would like to make me believes clear on the matter.

Any fund raising on AIM generally puts the fear of God into investors as it is usually required to keep the lights on in the office and to pay ongoing salaries. In our case this would most definitely not be the case as we are well funded for the next drilling operation.

Fund raising here could be required to purchase further assets,and if they added value to the balance sheet and recovered further income I would welcome it. Now I have no sneaky inside information on this but as a hunch the west coast of Angola keep popping up in my little mouse mind.
