This is looking very good for us now.
Diamonds and mining licence was stolen from vast by Mugabe and his cronies over a decade ago. Based on the facts of the case the judgement should fall in favour of vast. A lot has changed since the Mugabe, particularly in the mining sector. The judge has a reputation to maintain. The Ministry of mines will want to distance himself from the past they are now positioning themselves internationally. The government stance support international investment into Zimbabwe’s mining sector.
It will be interesting to see whether there is a compensation package already agreed by the Ministry of mines for all the monies lost over the last decade. I am expecting vast to be granted mining rights. As for the stones guessing around £15-20 million at current prices.
Don’t forget BP turnaround-BP should be breakeven on current projections and become profitable very shortly. We then have all the other assets. This is all coming together despite the constant murmurings of the De-ramping squad that have been here for an eternity and hold no shares.
