That’s £1 barrier broken through!
Well done on those who got on/are in ;)
No one should be too pee’d off with the price heading to £1. Getting close to my 98p buy in lol!
We all knew which way it was inclined to go (but didnt want to believe) - and very close it is.
Question is where will it bottom out and what will investors / punters do about their positions/holdings knowing what’s currently in the pipeline still….

Hi cm22 - I agree - each to their own how people play this. The way Tek and Salt SP is acting - is it an indicator? Possible variable.
Was it an AI venture? I thought they just got a couple of AI specialists on board - ie. Dr. Russ Salakhutdinov, the former director of AI at Apple, and Alexander Mordvintsev who is currently a Senior research scientist at Google.
@ Seamanp911: Regarding LSE never showing Salts current price - I wondered that too, and not sure why - but from observation ADMIN wrote a message on there a day or two after the float - and whoever wrote comments on the SALT forum - ADMIN always remained at top and never reflected the days % rise/falls..granted there’s a time lag.
So either it’s not being updated or the platform programming is not good at reflecting floated companies lol.
@TopCatz: Hi mate, cheers for the update and very helpful info. and courteous you got an informative response from MV too.
Totally agree regarding the lock in period and no point burdening them and even ourselves for that matter lol! Yes I remember Rick’s update, so no biggie as everything he’s said he’s delivered so far….which is rare of CEO’s these days haha!
If your calculation and working out is correct and multiple >8 on the original valuation - that’s not a bad earner we got ourselves into ;P
Nice lowdown Seamanp911.
LucyD was always going to be the hardest one out of the projects to breakthrough - Fashion/Clothing accessories items are always unpredictable and too many variables to make it successful and tbh it’s not a problem that needs to be solved if you know what I mean.
@Harpo321 - this is what I meant when I said hope her targets are of substance.
Im all for diversity and equality - but like you - would rather turn her position to business strategy and improvement and innovation.
Guess we will see what she pulls out the bag or be gone within 3-5 years with nothing to show but everything to gain.
Thanks Phatkatzout appreciate the response and say no more yes answers all - as I think I get the picture now in how the SS works in BT. i.e. It works like a regular saver - but with no interest on holdings or dividends (with the exception of the latter when the SS plan matures and you keep it during XD date that you would then qualify for divis) and so the gain - via SS scheme in BT is on hope of Capital Growth (i.e the SS price being higher than what you initially bought in at start of the scheme) and any future dividend gains (if holding) after future maturity.
That’s wonderful news to be mortgaged free as a result of BT share schemes and payments with over 100% gains on the asset (although Zoopla is only an estimation but at least you know what it could go for or estimated value).
Thanks again and ATB :)
Cheers Phatkatzout for also clarifying regarding SS. Always interested how companies offer incentives for companies - which personally think is a good idea - of having some part of a company and a regular savings I guess like your self for 36months - to have a nest of 11000 plus shares.
Do you gain interest on the monthly deposits and accumulation of the shares in SS plan? Or get dividends for the shares you collect until maturity?
Did you sell the SS20? Or kept them as they’re just over 10% at current price to what you bought at in 2020?
Well done on using 2009 gains to buy property - bet that has gone up more than the gains from the Saveshare in 2009 hahah! Further ker-ching for you ;)
Is that a fact FerrisC? When did that happen and why?
Thought that would be a good incentive for BT employees?
Please don’t tell me BT didnt want to pay the cost to run the scheme? Or worse that there were not enough BT staff to participate or sign up to the scheme that BT had to stop the scheme?
Absolutely Pokerchips and totally agree - she deserves those things if she can carryout those results, and hopefully injecting some new life and innovation to BT at the same time.
Let’s hope her targets are new ones and realistic - but, importantly of substance to get the market and investors excited about to invest in BT and SP moving again - despite the macro issues and known issues at the moment with BT and external worldly factors etc.
Interesting times ahead!
Good luck Nuri123a - if that’s what you just bought. Fingers crossed the trial comes up positive for BT. Otherwise, this is going back to sub £1.
Would be astonished to see if this goes back to 2009 price of 70-89p days! Be great for BT employees (that remain) if they get a Sharesave at that price again - would be approx. 60p for them - if I remember correctly - reading the windfall bonanza back then.
BT share chart has made a nice Triangle formation from past 15 years to present day lol.

Hahah spot on Armani
Indeed - seems like it is LGen’s turn in the barrel. With XD to be declared in a few weeks - wonder if same at 13.94p like last years Final Divi payment.

Hi TopCatz,
You’re welcome - as I said I would get back to you once I knew more - esp. as knew we had bought IPO from same place :) And you was right and agreed and so far so good although no rush after 12 months either :)
Unfortunately not, that was all I got back. My terms just state -
Conversion Provisions: Convertible into one share of Common Stock (subject to proportional adjustments for share splits, dividends, and the like) at any time at the option of the holder.
Which I believe means after 12months - I will able to convert them to common stock.
But like you said it’s locked in - and until lock in time has passed then would be nice to know what we could do with them.
Guessing the UK pre-IPO for Microsalt on Primary Bid is/was more informative lol.
