Claim
The Company's is pleased to confirm that it has formalised a claim for damages in the amount of US$85.8 million (the "Claimed Amount") in connection with the CNAOG ICC Arbitration.
The Claimed Amount has been assessed by a third-party expert consultant in consideration of the following:
· CNAOG's lost production revenue and associated profitability, during a period of high energy prices, from the SLK Concession until its initial expiry in December 2022
· The volume of crude oil produced from the Concession and allocated to and received by CNAOG upon the completion of the Acquisition
· Unpaid invoices for oil production by ETAP, the national oil company of Tunisia.
· The value of the 45% interest in the renewal of the SLK Concession, representing a breach of CNAOG's right to renew its previously existing 22.5% interest in SLK, as well as the 22.5% interest held by Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company K.S.C.C, which relinquished its interest in the Concession before its initial expiry.
The Company wishes to clarify that the CNAOG ICC Arbitration is being performed in parallel to the ICC Arbitration against ETAP, announced to the market on November 1, 2023, for a total amount of US$6.5 million, and to the arbitration pending before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington DC ("ICSID Arbitration") , for a total cumulative claimed amount of at least US$48 million, announced to the market on June 7, 2023, following various breaches of bilateral trade agreements committed by the Republic of Tunisia.
Andrea Cattaneo, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"It is again regrettable that we have been compelled to seek legal redress by way of our third arbitration in connection with our Tunisian assets for the very material commercial harm we have suffered because of the arbitrary conduct of the Tunisian authorities.
Zenith Energy is one of the few energy companies that invested in Tunisia in recent years during a period when most energy companies, irrespective of size, were actively seeking to leave the country.
The Board is fully confident in the merits of the CNAOG ICC Arbitration and will take all necessary action to ensure shareholders are fully compensated for the damage they have sustained."
Anyone else having problems posting threads?..............they come and then vanish.......admin?

Paul1Deano everything is written as per the RNS................we know exactly what happened you are merely searching for some silly conspiracy theory without any facts........ you don't need to be bored anymore because we are now focusing on safe production in USA and Kazakshtan along with a big potential play in South Sudan.............the share price has not followed suit but it will have no option but to change once the oil is produced and being sold.......... I agree if AC does not deliver in 2024 the company will have failed in my opinion but that is very unlikely with so many plays at hand and considering the market cap is only £6.7m the only way this stock is going to go is up................D Y O R!
Sorry Ezhik but you write so much baseless nonsense I think you even confuse yourself.........you seem to have forgotten about the $4.5m and now you come up in 24 hours with another wild theory without any evidence...........nothing that you write makes sense just clearly here rambling on without any set facts........provide any evidence for this idea that they were allowed to sell their first oil because it was in storage and not allowed to sell second batch because it was produced without the Tunisian government ever warning them this was the case........finally if that was the case why if zenith never had a contract (which you maintain) how did Zenith manage to get a court order to seize $6.5m from ETAP........ramblings of someone completely clueless IMHO
Not sure what happened yesterday it did not warrant a drop to below 3p...............potentially the mm's playing short term games before the price rises back up have seen this pattern with other stocks I am invested in......my guess is back to 3-3.5 next week........the news on Kazakhstan and South Sudan were extremely positive so can only point to trading games...........will purchase on Monday if still below 3p and post my trade..........gla
From what I gather it seems that the ICC are holding the ETAP fully accountable.............points that we willy eventually win all the money owed will just be a matter of time...........imho

ZENITH ENERGY LTD.
("Zenith" or the "Company")
ICC Arbitral Tribunal awards costs
Zenith Energy Ltd. (LSE: ZEN; OSE: ZENA; OTCQB: ZENAF), the listed international energy production and development company, is pleased to announce that the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) appointed Arbitral Tribunal for the arbitration claims launched against Entreprise Tunisienne d'Activités Pétrolières ("ETAP"), the national oil company of the Republic of Tunisia (the "ICC Arbitration"), has rejected ETAP's request to include the Tunisian State as co-defendant and ordered ETAP to pay approximately EUR 120,000 in costs.
Zenith Energy will seek to enforce the decision with a view to receiving payment directly to the claimant, a fully owned subsidiary of the Company, named Ecumed Petroleum Zarzis Ltd ("EPZ"), registered in Barbados.
Background
On July 10, 2023, the Company announced that it had successfully obtained a "conservative seizure" for an amount equivalent to approximately US$6.5 million deposited in a bank account under the name of ETAP in Switzerland (the "Conservative Seizure").
The Conservative Seizure was granted in view of ETAP's failure to comply with its contractual obligations and pay for oil produced and sold by EPZ.
The ICC Arbitration has been commenced by the Company following the Conservative Seizure and was announced on November 1, 2023.
I highly doubt that............but one thing is for certain the oil must be pumped out for money as soon as possible to get the price back to deserved levels as the market is cautious as ever not just here but across most stocks on aim and LSE.........imo
