20 January 2022 - Acquisition of Lithuanian Crypto Exchange Licence
Tone Goh, Chairman of GST, commented: "Through the Acquisition we intend to build upon our expertise in blockchain technology and expand our fintech business by means of cryptoasset trading and wallet management services. By having access to a full-service crypto exchange, we will be able to provide customers with access to our planned GS Money digital currencies, in addition, customers will also be able to use our exchange to trade some of the most valuable cryptoassets in the world, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others."
13 September 2022 - GS Money Stablecoin Regulatory Sandbox Application
Tone Goh, Chairman of GST, commented: "Since the launch of GS Money stablecoins in late November of 2021, our testing has been largely restricted to companies under GST's direct control, applying to the Regulatory Sandbox changes that.
"We believe the UK market is in need of a trusted UK-based provider to offer regulated electronic money and payment activities specifically related to stablecoins. I believe GST has the technology and operational readiness to be a leader in this business."
31 January 2023 - Proposed AI and Cybersecurity Collaboration
GSTechnologies Limited (LSE: GST), the fintech company, is pleased to announces that the Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Amaris AI Pte Ltd ("Amaris"), a Singapore based provider of artificial intelligence ("AI") and cybersecurity solutions to governments and multinational corporations, with a view to the parties exploring collaboration opportunities, in particular to integrate Amaris' technology to enhance GST's GSMoney offerings.
The Amaris management team includes James Kang (Chief Executive Officer), a former Assistant Chief Executive of the Infocommunication Authority of Singapore, and Professor Yu Chien (Chief Innovation Officer), who was previously the Chief Innovation Officer of a department in the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs and later of Certis Cisco, together with a number of other senior ex-Singapore Government executives with extensive experience in AI, cybersecurity and information technology. Amaris' AI solutions encompass document automation, action recognition and conversational AI, together with AI based cybersecurity solutions. These are all areas that could potentially enhance GST's proposed GS Money solutions, particularly with regard to streamlining and further securing the customer interface.
Additionally, both GST and Amaris believe there may be further opportunities to collaborate to develop both businesses based on their respective technology focuses, together with leveraging their existing and proposed customer bases.
