I am tempted to average down , as agree its massively oversold today with silly 0.11p placing.

However, the very nature of this placing and scandal surrounding it makes me avoid it as I feel that the BOD have their own motives now and clearly not respecting even their largest shareholders (SIBO and Abrahams) interest...which this placing is a slap in the face!

I'm going to hold out for qtrly report next week and darn better be flippin amazing so we get back to 0.20p at the least.

After that , well....wheres them 2 drills they said they would do before end of the year ? All these promises and as yet , we are not seeing nearly enough significant progress.

oh , let me not start on the 80mil of debt (20mil granted is in convertible loans at 0.088p price...so massive premium to current)...but 60mil is held for April 2020 payments......further explains the overhang on the so here...

wth all this in mind...we are very real risk of been taken private folks....could that be the reason for this exercise perhaps ? market cap less than £10mi....if they offered £20mil , I would defo take that anydays.

CrustyPete , that's a valid statement and certainly one people will have on their minds considering the deal done for Ruvuma.

I think AEX had to do something quick for Ruvuma and now it is done , they can focus on something else rather than fight with Tanz gov to get things moving. Yes Nyuni could be the same , but theres still more work with seismics etc

overall , the news gives us strength back and once we near the CH1 drill , the sp will appreciate again and if you had a look at the corp preso....you will see the target is MASSIVE in CH1....40mmcf from the block....more like 40mmcf from CH1 alone!

good point TarryBreeks.....althought SOLO still has same share as us for Ruvuma block (25%) , they will have to fund that share as the are NOT free carried for CH1 (former NT3) well.

As other aluded , this could be opportunity for AEX to buyout part of SOLO Ruvuma share in return for covering their carry costs on CH1 ??? could be very plausible and I would like to think easily 12.5% has to be the target if not more ?

AEX could also decide to take the lot (25%) in return for Solo share in Nyuni instead ? so more to follow hear and AEX now has the cards and that's why I am staying in

Everyone forgetting we still have 93.33% of offshore Nyuni that is a LARGER prospect than Ruvuma and has nearby infrastructure where our Kilwani well is!!!! so annoying as peeps fear selling thinking we lost 2 thirds of our holding here which isn't the case!

fortune favours the researched and I am staying in for the long term now that farmout done and we don't have to worry about financing....a lot of upside here and our NAV is still well north of £150 mil market cap

Considering ruvuma estimated from 21tcf to 160tcf in reserves and that we have 75percent of the block.. I think you can work the maths out

reason for SP stagnating is due to anticipated result of Argentinian approval for our farmin (expected on or before 28th Jan) Some nervousness before then , so once they give the nod of approval , then this share will re-rate quickly. Incidentally , that could be the catalyst to take us over 17.5p Open Offer rates , which the Board said they would continue if the share price above 17.5p at end Jan. Why else would they keep it an option if they weren't confident of the approval ? Fill yer boots!

Can you elaborate what u mean by this been a dead share? I totally disagree as the assets we have is transformational and we have cash flow now from the Argentinian asset purchase. ..which we didn't before. This share well undervalued and the market will wake up once the first work programmes come in and obviously any work overs and drills thereafter

HI All With the recent change in shareholdings by FMR LLC from 41 to 46% , I wondering if they looking to market COLT SA to the other telcos in the market (like Vodafone, Level 3 Communications etc) Not the first time COLT been rumoured to be taken over. But with their recent results , seems an opportune time for a bigger player to lap them up - most especially because of COLT's excellent footprint in London and moreso Europe What's peoples' thoughts on this ?

Fox-Davies Capital has upped its target price for Tajikistan operating gold explorer Kryso Resources (AIM: KYS) to £0.28 from £0.25, as a result of higher gold prices and a weaker sterling exchange rate. The upgraded outlook comes notwithstanding the delay to the Pakrut bankable feasibility study, wich was announced in December. Kryso shares climbed approximately 4% this morning to change hands at £0.1325 per share. The delivery of the feasibility study was put back as the project’s JORC-compliant resource update, which lifted the total resource by 43%, to 2.83 million ounces of gold, fell behind schedule. The resource update was completed in November and the feasibility study is expected to be completed in the early part of 2010. The Pakrut gold project sits at the centre of a large licence area of some 6,300 hectares, alongside a number of other smaller mineralised systems, and astride the gold-prolific southern Tien Shan mineralised belt. It is approximately 112km northeast of the Tajik capital city Dushanbe. According to November’s resource update, Pakrut’s total resource includes 1.33 million ounces of indicated and measured resource at an average grade of 2.44 grams per tonne with a further 1.5 million ounces in the inferred category. A further update to the resource is expected to be completed in the first half of 2010.
