RBand,
I hope you’re not saying something about me, or being nasty towards me.
I was suggesting with good intentions for all of our benefit, except for the shorters.
I’m sure you understand what it means for us to say “lose money” when we are talking about trading, its paper lose or actual loss if you sell, Un-realized P/L or Realized P/L (profit/Loss), if you want to start getting technical, in simple terms we still refer to it as a loss.
I will clarify it for you…
So when a normal trader is long on a stock like me and others here, then if the share price drops we lose money (paper loss if we hold or actual loss if we sell)
On the other hand when are trader is Shorting a stock, guess what they make money when the price falls (paper gain/profit Un-realized if they hold or Realized profit if they sell)
I belong on the long side, hence losing money when the share price drops and as human we get frustrated, from the way your talking you must be making money when the share price drops so making you a shorter and getting f….. off.
Everyone we may have just found one of our shorter’s the way he/she is talking.
