I wouldn’t bet on it. Jan and feb is the coldest months of the year, expect regular local lockdowns across the country. BP share price will prob only retain £3 consistently in March. I can’t see the price hitting £4 until end of next year. right now bp share price is for dividend and long term investors.

It doesn’t need to hit £4.50 by dec. Long term investor are happy for the SP to rise gradually.

i have learnt my lesson, don't look at the sp everyday and don't get emotional when it declines. I am here for the long term, the price will go up and down... long term trend i hope is up.

Agreed with @wolfofwarks. Two things come to my mind. 1) suppliers who have close contact/relationship with the founders 2) tendering process.

@Biddwolf - sure. Quite frankly most of the traders are here for a quick buck, i don't think anyone really pays attention to the 'opinion' field. All i read is the great majority informing us that the stock is about to go through the roof and ignoring all reality. Anyone who posts anything nearing a sensible argument on why the price may fall further is hounded down.

No not at all. Note that i have advised that people should keep this stock on 'hold'. Just because i am new to this forum doesn't mean i have alternative motives.

Expect a parliamentary inquiry if sports direct is anything to go by...sp will experience further downward pressure. Long term it is still a good investment but the jury is out on whether your better off investing else where right now if your looking for short term gain.
