So frustraining reading the FCA comments20 May 2021 13:53
"He said the proposals involved writing off “hundreds of millions of pounds” owed to complainants, while the shareholders would keep their equity.
“Our primary submission is that there is simply no proper justification for the shareholders retaining all of the equity and the obvious question is ‘Why isn’t the group giving some or all of the equity to the redress creditors?’ and no real answer to that question has been provided,” he added."
The share holders have gone from £3 to 24p and giving up profits.. for claims which are rounded up by the FCA!
how on EARTH can any sensible person think that share holders are getting to retain their equity when it has basically been wiped out by these claiments! the company has cash and debts and claims..
best to just go bankrupt and wipe everyone out because their attitude stinks. This should sit at the door of the FCA for its bad conduct not with PIs who are the main share holders not institutions. The common man, woman and child owns these shares because the FCA said they did not object until it suited them to object.
Hard working individuals are going to be punished if the FCA get their way for the sake of people who took out loans that they spent and said .. "oh I have to pay this back..? really? I didn't understand that..".
Once again this country punishes the hard working people who are paying taxes and trying to do the right thing. What kind of world is it when people can spend money and claim they didn't understand by the tens of thousands. Are the British public really this stupid?
The FCA is supposed to stand up for fair conduct not be participants in market manipulation and trying to take down hard working individuals. The FCA needs disbanding.
I am writing to my MP about this, they knew full well what they was doing. They acted like some sneaky state actor not what should be a shining light of example.
Rant over.
