They will have increased their short position in order to aid in pushing the price down with the belief they could then reduce their overall short at the lowers levels. The update for their short reducing likely won’t appear until Monday.

I suspect we will see a few have decreased after pushing the price down in order to try and reduce the short positions before the price starts to increase and can’t be pulled back as easily due to larger volume of trades gaining forward momentum.

Can’t argue with any of that, money wise an exclusive cinema window makes sense for any movie....unless of course the movie makers owned the cinema.

Expect an RNS Monday / Tuesday then it gets interesting.

It’s never nice to see drops to this extent and huge paper losses appear in what feel like the blink of an eye BUT I would strongly urge everyone to watch Jhango.

If come Monday / Tuesday there is no RNS saying they’ve decreased or better still an RNS saying they’ve increased (which I strongly suspect they have - they last topped up in the 90s so saw value at that level) then we really don’t have much to worry about, they know exactly what they are doing and they have a huge stake in this.

I believe they will either attempt a takeover after building close to Mookys 20% levels or are simply waiting on a Netflix etc approach where they can play king maker.

Ultimately they will know a lot more than you, me or anyone else on this board.

Just hold tight, what does down inevitably will go up and this could go up very very fast and you definitely would NOT want to have jumped overboard when it does.

Over 10m trades in 4.5 hours of trading - something is about to happen big. For months we’ve seen 3m/4m trades a day.

I wouldn’t want to be out it as this will bounce hard.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, at this ridiculously low market cap this is an absolute sitting duck for a takeover target.

Interesting Jhango have never decreased during the last few months of drops.

Perhaps they know something we don’t.

Unfortunately nobody can agree or repeat what you’ve said in that respect now without what appears to be the BB police in Ashtash popping on to say “that’s been said before”.

Ashtash, thanks for being honest and letting me know I’m saying a lot of what has been said by others? Unfortunately I’ve not had a few weeks / months free to read through what everyone has ever said on this board and I certainly haven’t claimed to be the only person who thinks it or that anything I say or feel is breaking news.

I was asked why I felt the share price could jump and I listed my reasons why? Was I only allowed to write a reason that nobody had ever mentioned before?

In regards a takeover, I’ve said previously I think company is currently a sitting duck for a takeover (I still do) but I certainly didn’t say one was about to happen? It was Bonkers who mentioned a delayed takeover?

Ashtash, the increasing confidence that come from proof a desire to return to cinema is now there. The fact freedom day is actually confirmed in stone and not hoped for or left in any doubt will also have an effect.

The Holy Grail is of course any takeover Bonkers is waiting on, should that happen we really would be on Easy Street.

Let’s see where we go after initial tree shake.

Bonkers, purely based on the factors of the tide turning. Box office numbers being in spotlight which will inevitably lead to more private investors looking at investing. Institutional and firms will in turn buy in on wave of that as they will already know share price is due to bounce and potentially bounce hard. Freedom day being confirmed later will have large market sentiment across the board. Increased confidence that numbers will and are back through cinemas door, especially given the film slate that’s to come the rest of this year.

Without doubt any mention of a takeover would take this to a different level though that’s more hope than fiction as it stands though for all our sakes I hope you’re right!

Look at the total world wide figures, very strong figures given the stage we are at in the worldwide recovery.

Also given it was available immediately on streaming , only goes to underline the demand that is there for Cinema which is only going to go from strength to strength.

I fully expect us to be back at 85p + tomorrow given the results.

This is going up tomorrow and up quite a bit.

IMO very strong numbers from Black Widow which bodes very well for this share price jumping next week, from what I believe is it’s complete base level.

The fact the movie was available for streaming at same time as Cinematic release makes its opening numbers all the more impressive.

Without doubt this shows there is a real appetite for Cinema and without doubt a pent up desire to get back into cinemas across the world and enjoy the thrill of the big screen once again.

With the embarrassment of riches coming up for the rest of 2021 this share is an absolute no brainier, it is only going to go from strength to strength.

I fully expect give this vote of confidence in the industry this will go to £1 next week. Furthermore an RNS I fully expect will come tomorrow morning or Tuesday morning (after Boris confirms freedom day is going ahead) and it will further catapult this vastly under priced share.

One this is for sure, we won’t see the 70s again.

Hold on to your hats next week, it’s going up and it may well be a fast ride.

For clarity no I’m not suggesting I’ve invested expecting a takeover, simply a bonus if it happens.

I do believe if a takeover attempt be to happen, it will happen soon at these current price levels however.

My main reason for investing is simply the current share price, which in my view, is a fantastic opportunity as only way it can go is up from these levels.

No sadly my real name isn’t as exciting as a former page 3 glamour model or the Wolf of Wall Street lol

Cineworld is currently a prime target for a takeover attempt with its currently market value IMO.

Should any of the afore mentioned companies ie. Netflix, Amazon etc be contemplating a takeover attempt for a cinema chain, now would be the time to make your move (there is a lot of sense in them buying a cinema chain in that they’d have best of both worlds).

Even taking into account the negatives of this company (and there are a few) and it’s debt levels, it is, without doubt currently under valued at his current share price levels.

It’s my opinion that should any takeover attempt have been considered, it will be made very soon and for that reason I’m now invested in this as at these prices, takeover attempt or not, this price can’t fail to make you money.
