Where is this RNS then? Going to be some jump to hit this 30p.
To be fair is probably more chance of it hitting 99p than there is of convict Mooky ever releasing an RNS before the is ship sinks.
In Mooky you trust though, down down down, taking on water fast but just sit there and wait in this RNS today and 30p…..
Any minute now, any minute.
Powerfader, I think there is more chance you winning the lottery this week than there is of Cineworld releasing any RNS - they have completely gone into lockdown and letting nothing out whilst Mooky and his cohorts fill their pockets with as much as they can.
30p today? Much higher chance you’ll see 3p before 30p.
All hail convict Mooky
I’ve been saying this for months but most on this board like to bury their heads in the sand and pretend Mooky is doing a great job when in reality all he is doing is filling his own pockets before the ship sinks and takes all of them with it.
I wonder if at that point the abusive Bonkers and his cohorts will come on this board and apologise to everyone they misled in to losing all their money?
Make no doubt about it, this ship is sinking and sinking fast.
Ocean passage, that Cine bounce? Can only assume you’re looking at a graph from 12 to 18 months ago, this hasn’t bounced for a LONG time - the bounce you’re talking about is ANOTHER dip.
Down she goes, will it hit 15p today?
Hussartbr, I don’t have a short on Cine and I never have had. Quite the opposite I was a long term holder for a long time here and got inpatient and sold out at 62p.
Then the court case was lost and everything spiralled since then.
You shouldn’t assume anyone who doesn’t think this share is ready to take off and all will be fine is a deramper.
It’s all about opinions, negative and positive - as much as you would like it you can’t have a constructive board with only everyone staring at the stars saying how great it is?
I believe it’s a sinking ship, that Mooky has done a horrific job at communicating with the markets throughout and is now concealing negative news.
You believe this is a great share and happy with your investment, Mooky is doing a fine job and it’s ready to rise quickly any day now.
That’s fine, opinions are like ********s - we all have one.
You need to release an RNS Mooky or you’ll be back in court again, wake the hell up.
If man had an ounce of decency he at least has to have it in him to let share holders know what’s happening - instead he lines his pockets with as much as he can.
Everyone kidding themselves on that he owns a lot of shares and hasn’t sold? For the exact same logic as you, they are now worth teens and if he sold out the full thing collapses so he continues to fill his pockets from the inside with her brother and rest of his cohorts.
Just look at his last bonus?
If this sinks today he’s made millions from it and walks away to semi retire running smaller cinema chain, not many of you will be as comfortable at losing what you have invested in this.
The man doesn’t have an ounce of decency.
The longer this goes with the company refusing to issue an RNS to even update the markets on whether the Regal share holders were paid or not the more this will drop.
Mooky has during this pandemic refused to communicate with the markets, he’s done a horrific job in that respect.
As I keep saying, refusing to issue an RNS after the deadline for Regal share holders to be paid passed on the 30th is in my opinion illegal and is withholding market sensitive information, only those within the company know this information.
It’s very much looking like no news is bad news.
No Fun,
It doesn’t take long to read the last few months RNS releases as there are hardly any of them such is the lack of communication with the markets.
All the markets have been told is they were holding talks with regal share holders (presumably to ask them to extend it again) some weeks before the deadline.
The deadline has now passed, was this passed in agreement with Regal shareholders? Or was the deadline passed without their consent?
You can bury your head in the sand all you want but the markets should have been updated.
Sorry FunInvestor but that’s not all that’s required. The deadline for the payment was 30th June, what was the outcome?
We know they were in talks to presumably extent that again with the regal shareholders, that was some weeks before the payment was due, deadline has passed and the markets have never been updated?
Was payment made (appears not), was the deadline here and Cine just refused to pay on time? Did Regal shareholders agree to delay the payment?
Markets have no idea what has happened on 30th June at the deadline and they should - even an RNS to say talks were extended to beyond the deadline would have been something.
Instead the company have told the markets nothing at all after the deadline passed.
RS2002 please tell me when I’ve said I’ve opened a short?
Question is simple, regardless of whether you’re short or long on this - why has RNS never been released to update the markets on whether the Regal shareholders were paid / agreed to extent their payment again which was due on 30th June?
Markets have a legal right to know answer to that and company is hiding it.
RS2002, why has no RNS been released to update shareholders on the payment that was due to be made to Regal shareholders on 30th June?
Was it made on time? Was it not paid? Did the shareholders except a further delay to their payment?
The deadline was 30th June for this and the company have failed to update shareholders on the outcome of it.
IMO that’s not only illegal but highly unethical to share holders, clearly this is price sensitive information and the company have refused thus far to tell anyone the answers.
If still no RNS comes before 8am open this morning, company really really doesn’t want the markets to know something to the extent they are willing to risk the consequences of not releasing share sensitive information via an RNS.
Question is, are they hiding good or bad news? Either way by refusing to reveal it to the markets they are taking a real risk IMO, legally you can’t run a closed shop when you’re owned by share holders.
Hold your head in shame Mooky.
So you believe a company doesn’t have a legal obligation to notify the markets / share holders if it has managed to pay a debt on time?
The same debt they released RNSs for to tell markets they had started negotiations over the debt due yesterday?
I’m sorry but you legally can’t withhold that information from the markets. Clearly the company knows whether it paid the debt yesterday or not - it’s only the rest of us that don’t know.
They will need to legally release an RNS to update share holders on whether yesterdays deadline for a paying Regal share holders was met / extended or missed.
Problem with CINE is they refuse to communicate anything unless legally required to do so, unfortunately for Mooky this is one they legally need to do.
Tick Tock Mooky….
Simple my opinion Tegop, if anyone listened to me in CAPS they would have sold out at around 30p and potentially bought in at 20p.
Despite claims to the contrary I don’t expect anyone to follow my advise - I simply post it as my opinion and if other did follow it they were out at 30p with an option to buy in again at 20p.
Glad you’re catching on though - perhaps you should try posting something constructive rather than condescending and it might add some form of value to the board as apose to your current offerings.
An RNS will be issued either way, simply because the legally need to update shareholders, which tends to be the only time an RNS is issued these days by Cineworld.
Deadline was today to pay them, Cine have been in discussions with the regal dissenting share holders (assumably to further delay their payment) as per the previous RNS but today was the deadline so they legally need to tell the markets pre 8am whether it’s been paid or not.
The RNS almost always will arrive at 7am so it’ll either go up or down first thing tomorrow, hold onto your hat.
Hexam, he will be referring to CINE USA share but it almost always follows the UK CINE share price and almost never deviates from it.
An RNS will be released tomorrow with an update on the agreed payment to the Regal dissenting share holders.
Simply because it legally has to, today is the deadline for making the previously agreed payments which was already delayed until today.
It will only be released because it legally has to, RNS will likely arrive at 7am. If it’s positive this share will rise - if it’s not it’ll be in teens.
Fact the market price hasn’t moved greatly either way suggests the markets for once have no idea what the RNS will say.
We will soon find out pre opening tomorrow.
Antmoss, this isn’t a gay dating app, you do know that don’t you?
Indeed Bonkers, if anyone had listened to me when I posted that how much would they have saved between then and now? Why not include the share price at the time?
I offer an opinion to try and help others make educated opinions. You on the other hand? Well this is what contribute on this investor board? At least my posts are based on opinions on this share and I don’t treat the board as some sort of blog to update everyone on your life? A quick heads up - NOBODY CARES.
“me half naked is something Mrs bonx doesn't seem to like either lol.
Done a 5k run on the treadmill earlier , it helps with the voice inside my head when I attend a leaving drinks gathering later.
Head will be like you can't have another , I'll be like shut it done 5k earlier drink what I want.
Then people will stare at me wondering whos he talking too.
Someone will then say ignore him he's bonkers“
They have a legal obligation to tell the markets if and when they have news that is likely to effect the share price.
Unfortunately with Mooky this is likely to be delayed as long as possible until the last possible second before an RNS is released, it’s as though he detests communicating anything with share holders.
Just look at the H1 results, he’s refusing to reveal them until September rather than the standard August.
The man’s communication is absolutely abysmal for someone in his position of a share holder owned company.
