£4.8m contracts awarded for development of multiplex lateral flow systems

York, U.K. 30 March 2026: Abingdon Health plc (AIM: ABDX), a leading international developer, manufacturer and regulatory services provider for rapid diagnostic tests and med-tech, announces that it has been awarded a series of significant contracts with a USA-based customer to develop, and scale up to manufacture several multiplex quantitative lateral flow assay systems measuring multiple biomarkers simultaneously in human samples. The contracts include full programme management, the management of regulatory processes, and analytical and clinical performance services.

The contracts have a total value of approximately £4.8 million based on the agreed scope of work and will be delivered over a circa 27-month period commencing immediately. These contracts will be executed via a series of work packages based on agreed milestones, with potential further scope beyond that period including appointment as legal manufacturer. The contracts represent an important validation of Abingdon Health's full programme management CDMO service which offers development from feasibility and initial regulatory pathway provision through to product manufacture and multi-territory regulatory approvals.

The programmes of work will leverage the Group's established and growing capabilities in lateral flow test development and manufacture in its York, UK and Madison, Wisconsin, USA facilities. In addition, the programmes will utilise its regulatory services companies, CS Lifesciences and IVDeology, as well as analytical and clinical performance evaluation services provided by Abingdon Analytical at its Doncaster, UK facilities. It underscores Abingdon Health's position as a leading provider of integrated CDMO/CRO services for rapid diagnostic tests and med-tech.

Outlook and FY26 guidance

· FY26 revenue guidance maintained in line with market expectations of £12.6 million (comprising £12.2 million of contract revenues and £0.4 million of grant-funded income).

· Based on the current customer and contracted revenues only, the Board expects H2 FY26 to show a positive adjusted EBITDA resulting in an overall FY26 EBITDA loss that shows a significant improvement against the FY25 adjusted EBITDA loss of £2.6 million.

· Outlook for H1 FY27 and beyond remains positive; all major CDMO contracts announced during FY26 are expected to continue into FY27, providing a strong foundation for continued revenue growth. We already have visibility over a reasonable portion of FY27 revenues which gives us great confidence for the future as we continue to pursue a significant number of new customers and contract opportunities.

*Total revenues of £4.453 million including £0.216 million of grant-funded contract development income relating to the UKRI-funded malaria parasite lateral flow test project, presented within other operating income in accordance with IAS 20.

**Adjusted EBITDA defined as operating loss prior to the impact of depreciation, amortisation, share-based payment charges and certain non-recurring items as presented in the Group Statement of Comprehensive Income.

"I am pleased to report substantial revenue growth in the first six months of FY26, with total revenues including grant-funded income up 45% to £4.5 million. We have made significant commercial and operational progress via our integrated end-to-end CDMO including our analytical laboratory and regulatory service offering, which has supported us in securing and executing several major contracts. This momentum is expected to continue in the second half of FY26 and beyond.

"With well-invested operations across the UK and USA, a strong pipeline of opportunities, and several major CDMO contracts anticipated to be ongoing into FY27, the Board remains confident in the outlook for the Group."

Abingdon Health plc reported a 45% increase in total revenue to £4.5 million for the six months ended December 31, 2025, with reported revenue reaching £4.2 million. The company expects the second half of fiscal year 2026 to be profitable with positive operating cash flow, and maintains its full-year revenue guidance of £12.6 million. Despite an adjusted EBITDA loss of £1.7 million in the first half due to investment in growth, the company secured new contracts, including a $2.5 million deal announced on March 12, 2026, and is confident in its outlook for fiscal year 2027. Cash and cash equivalents stood at £3.7 million as of December 31, 2025, following a £3.2 million fundraising.
